Let me guess… the welcome home party is a surprise party set for tomorrow night, to fool me?

teehee. welcome back.

Surprise!!

Looks like I’m a little early…

hi! I’m kinda newish, but i’ll welcome you back anyway  I followed your livejournal link (have one too, love to see what other people do to theirs) and saw a picture of your son… i had to be peeled off the floor!! What a cutie!!

welcome home.

did you bring enough chocolate for the entire mb?

Um… chocolate? No… but I probably have enough shortbread. And Kinder Egg toys.

Hi girl! Isn’t he cute? Have you been to his homepage?

Cool pictures, OpalCat. Tell me – what made you decide to go to what you went to? Package tour? Longed-for itinerary from childhood? Hoping to see Billy Connolly? What?

Picture 1 of the Stonehenge set is a blast. Only you would get away with a shot of tourist cars and buses on a non-specific road (to Stonehenge?). “Come to dear ol’ Blighty, and see the tourists”.

Nice to see pix o’ my ancestral homeland. Thanks.

Aaah! Too cute!!! What do you feed him?!?

Little icons on the Budged Rental Car map we had. It’s a huge book, like 14 x 28" or so it seemed… 82 pages… it had every alley and driveway in the country in it. It also had little labelled icons for castles, monuments, cathedrals, etc. We just sort of poked through those, and then we also looked at brochures at the various places we stopped… We just played it day by day… each day we had no idea what part of the country we’d be in the following day.

Looks like you did a hell of a lot on your travels!

I notice that you had some questions about UK road signs. I’ve only got a little way through your journal, so you may have already found the answers to your road sign questions.

UK road signs Click on each sign for the definition.

thanks for the sign info!

One thing we found out is that you’re just supposed to know the speedlimit on the Motorways!
