It only took three mixers to do some baking this evening (that I was supposed to do early this afternoon). First was [del]like Kopek[/del] had a screw loose…& a broken washer. Second somehow had mismatched beaters. I should be in bed right now but all of the punkin cheesequakes are in the oven. Changed ingredients & I do not like the Nestle punkin chips for melty baking.

Actually, thanks to the fiber in the oats doing their job around 5 this morning, I’m up. I’ve tended to the critters, emptied the dishwasher, started refilling it, washed all the baking stuff by hand that had to be done by hand, and I took out the kitchen trash. Go me!
And I love the terms Gruncle and Graunt! I’ll have to let my sibs know that’s what we are/will be. One sis is a grandmother already, but she’ll be a graunt when Kermit is born. YAY!
This morning, we’re driving down to the Navy Federal CU office to see if they’ll let us deposit some money in daughter and SIL’s account. We’re helping them out with Dr and hospital baby bills. I could mail a check, but it’d take a few days, they they’d have to wait for it to clear. This way, the money would be available about the same time the check would have arrived there. Can there possibly be anything wrong with this plan??
We’ve also got to stop by Staples to pick up something **FCD **ordered for the computer in his shop. And I think we wanted something at Lowe’s also… can’t recall. Anyway, erranding is on tap today. And laundry. And I’ve got to make the Bananas Foster I promised him for his b-day - I kinda forgot yesterday when I baked cookies.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 56 Amurrkin out and clear with a predicted high of 85 and mostly N.O.S. for the day. I shall go over to the church house around ten to assist with the pee-kahn harvest. A productive way to spend a couple of hoours plus exercise in the form of walkin’ around with a rolly thingy and a bucket. Other than that, who knows.
Now I need more caffeine and to feed rumbly tummy. Then I suppose I should purtify up a bit.
Blurf. Sore throat that was diagnosed as pharangitis so I guess it could be strep but he did not test for that. Said I need antibiotics which I am on for ten days. Hoping to avoid the rest of this illness which is the bronchitis and snotty nose. We shall see. Actually, I do not feel too bad other than the sore throat. I hava a small list of sick bed supplies and I guess I will go to the store. I hinted to hubby but he didn’t take the hint. All he has on his mind anymore is work, work, and more work. The man is a machine. Gets on my nerves it does.
So off to the store then back to slugville per Drs orders.
Up, caffeinating, breakfasted, bed stripped, puppy crate cleaned, sheets and towels in the wash. When I cleaned the dog crate, I found that Nelson had been pulling the stuffing out of his crate bed. Now I have another afternoon project. I’m getting way too good at repairing pup accoutrements.
I made the store trip and felt like I may pass out a couple times. I think the antibiotics are making me dizzy. I also texted hubby and told him I appreciate he is a hard worker but not at the expense of his home and family which is me. Everyone else in the world is important except me. I am getting tired quickly of this. Workaholic is a disease. Like gambling or drinking. He is possessed.
So now I guess I will be a bitch because I need a little attention while sick. Money is not everything.
Quick check-in, I refereed a soccer game at 8am with fog all over the field (it cleared up for the game), the first of four I’m doing today. Heading out to drop off water and electric bills and then back to the fields.

Back from successful erranding. Apart from not filling the car, I got everything done, so yay! There’s a load of towels in the washer and 3 or 4 more loads to go, depending on how I feel.
The oatmeal cookies turned into two mega lumps o’cookie - I kinda expected they would. Since we’re not sharing them (MINE MINE!!!) it doesn’t matter if we peel them off in clumps. Still taste good.
**Butters **- I understand your frustration being married to a work-a-holic, but at least he’s not a bum who lays around all day playing video games and blaming the world for his inability to get a job that matches his self-image. Not pointing any fingers, but I think we’ve all known people like that. Just crawl into bed and maximize slugginess - it couldn’t hurt! This too shall pass.

Guten Tag everyone. We are up and making a big family breakfast. Pepper pup is curled up at my feet, watching the show.
We’re planning on heading out for our last RV trip in a bit. It’s supposed to snow where we’re heading, so I’m not wedded to the plan, as they say. We’ve even turned the heater on in the house today. We like things pretty cold, but 60 getting up takes some getting used to. Literally. We’ll get there later this season.
So, maybe RV trip, maybe not. That is the weekend.

I pulled out a meatloaf to thaw for supper. So that’s decided.
It’s dreary and mostly overcast. Two days ago, **FCD **drove the mulcher/vac around the yard. Today, it looks just like it did 3 days ago. Stoopit leaves.
No, I haven’t skipped a few years there somewhere, I was irking at this year’s one. Meant getting up before 6, which I only normally do if I have to catch a plane or something. They stuck me on the back door, stoppin’ folks from wanderin’ or sneakin’ in. Felt like being a securitator again.

It’s national things go bang weekend. I have a much better view of the local things that are going bang than I used to at the old place, and I think I’m going to a proper display tomorrow. I might bring something mulled and alcoholic.
