When I thought the external IP of our corporate LAN was banned, I looked it up on a blacklist checker. I found out that my company was blacklisted by Barracuda. I figured that was the problem. Even though it wasn’t, I still got to look like a smart guy for informing my boss that we’re on Barracuda’s blacklist. So, thanks for banning me!
I sent the obligatory concerened email when I got the banned message on my home PC then figured it probably wasn’t personal when the same message showed up at work.
How can you not understand who in this thread is known by everyone else in the thread to be acting like a complete jerk?
Or if you do understand, why wouldn’t you care?
If we were talking about a serious moral issue that’d be one thing. But you’re talking about a brief glitch which if anything gave us all a bit of time to do something productive.
I was asleep when this happened and missed out. I have nothing to do right now and need some excitement in my life. Would TPTB make it happen again so I can enjoy panicking over the probably temporary loss of something that is not essential to my life, health, livelihood, finances, or education? Thanks ever so much! ::kissy smilies::
Thanks to the staff for reversing Marley’s clear and obvious power grab – er, I mean, the technical glitch. Yes. Technical glitch.
No for reals, I can’t believe how nice Tuba’s email was, considering it was one of probably about 3489 she had to send out this morning. Well played, y’all.
I’ve been very active on the board over the last week. I woke up at the crack of 11, grabbed my iPad beside my bed to check emails and the Dope, and thought, it’s about damn time.
No, after the first WTF?! moment, I knew it had to be a tech issue, because my posts are nothing if not reasonable and cooperative, with just a pinch of arrogance to give 'em a little pep.
Those four little words were already posted in the other thread and in the announcement. It didn’t occur to me to say it again in response to NineToTheSky’s post, and I think we’re covered on the apologies. My guessis that NineToTheSky knows we didn’t want to block is access to the board (and everyone’s, including ours). Anyway if NineToTheSky found my post wanting, he can tell me so himself. You and I don’t need to argue about it on his behalf. I leave it to you to decide who needs to suck it up.
