With every crazy statement, his numbers among the Republican base rises. And I see no end of crazy statements.
Then I had an epiphany – the perfect Republican Tocket for the Crazy Train is Ann Coulter. Donald will attack the establishment Republicans and Ann will attack everyone else.
While it does make for a perfect storm of craziness, there’s no way Trump’s ego is going to let him chose a running mate with the potential to upstage him.
He reminds me of Vince McMahon in full-on heel mode. I can’t wait for the first debate when Trump opens up with “I got balls the size of grapefruits, and when this is done, you losers will all be spitting out seeds.”
I think Trump is a megalomaniac with a limited mental capacity, but these irrational attacks on the “crazy” things he’s saying are making me want to hear him out.
It’s not with “every crazy statement” he’s getting more popular, its with every irrational attack by the left and the media that’s he’s rising. He did not say that every Mexican is a rapist, he said that a portion of the people crossing illegally are rapists. A big difference that some are ignoring.
In his initial statement, he said “they’re rapists” in the middle of a bunch of other horseshit. It was not qualified at that point other than “and some I assume are good people”. It was only after repeated stupid statements that he even barely attempted to qualify that as ‘some of them are rapists’.
We aren’t ignoring it because he didn’t say what you want to believe.
[QUOTE=Donald Trump]
When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best. They’re not sending you. They’re not sending you. They’re sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people.

Those are the words he spoke. This is the video where you can see the actual words printed above come out of his mouth. The words “illegal immigrant” aren’t there.
But, yeah, I would love nothing more than this braying jackass get the nomination. It would likely be the first time a single party carried every state in the Electoral College. And to be clear, it wouldn’t be the Republicans.
Saw something on Yahoo last night where Lou Dobbs was running graphics to the effect that Trump is being effective in waking the country up to the criminal element flooding into the country from south of the border, illustrated by the fact that illegal immigrants currently make up 3.5% of the population but account for 36.7% of federal sentences handed down in 2014.
No mention was made of state conviction rates, deportations made in lieu of sentencing, or rates of rape vs. other population groups.
I don’t agree but would like to see who he chooses as his vice president if he were to get the nomination. My hunch is he won’t choose any of the other GOP candidates and will go for some conservative outsider is not a politician.
He certainly seemed to be implying that the vast majority bringing drugs, rape and crime to the United States. If anything his final statement that some “I assume are good people” made it worse.
If he had said “They’re sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with us. While most are good people some are bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. and they are rapists.” It wouldn’t be so bad,
But the way he worded it clearly implying that while there may be a few good people among the torrent of criminals, druggies, and rapists they were few and far between. Such that he didn’t actually know if any existed and but just assumed that there must be a few there due to the law of averages.
Those are the words he said and that is why he is getting so much play in the media. I know what you think he meant. Even if that was what he meant it would still be getting him a ton of attention.
Calm down. He has no chance of being elected President. The man is a buffoon and the majority of voters can see that, Republicans as well as Democrats.
