That’s all, just had to say it. Offer accepted last night, financing pre-approved, down-payment is in my savings account-just a few more little hurdles before I can move in.

Woo-hoo! Congrats!
I recently got my house and it’s soooooooooooo great. I’m telling you I put a big part of my wage into it every month but it’s still so worth it.
Congratulations!
P.S. You’ll be needing a lot of tools. Shop around D.S.
Congratulations!!! The Mrs. and I have been in ours for 10 months now and we LOVE it. So many projects so little time. And yes, tools are absolutely essential. Enjoy.
Even more good news? Wow, you need to buy a lotto ticket.
Happy for you!
I don’t want to push it. Anyway, it’s not all wine and roses. My wife’s in danger of being laid off. By the same company that laid me off last year. (After which I got a much better job for a lot more money with a more stable company. So that may not be a really bad thing.)
But she had dinner the night after she was told that with her good friend, a regional director there. I’m pretty sure she’ll find a place there for her somewhere. And if not, I can swing the payments on just my salary (barely! ) for a while at least, so we decided to go ahead and take the plunge.
Just don’t tell the bank about the job thing, though, please.
Yaaaaay! My husband and I just closed on our condo last week, so we’re only a few weeks ahead of you. Unfortunately, now we’re at the whole “moving” part of things. Which I hate.
Congrats! It’s awfully exciting, isn’t it?
