Personally, I think the OP’s angry because she didn’t get the responses she expected when she posted in the Pit about how pedestrians should walk behind her car when she pulls out in front of them without looking.
I know who Anaamika is. Not entirely clueless ya know. We share a similar affection for spiders, thus explaining the first part of my post.
What tweaked me was that all of a sudden everyone decides that she is an attention whore based on this thread. Strikes me as kind of shitty.

I must’ve missed the other threads where she seemed like an attention whore, or acted the part enough to stand out from the rest of us whores. I’d welcome the correction. It won’t change my mind to much on her. Anyone who likes spiders as much as me is peachy keen in my book, but it’ll clear things up just the same.
Wring, normally I’d agree with you. It may be because I find Ana to be an overall pleasant person that I don’t. It just says a lot to me that the first few posts in this thread were so predictable. Sometimes I wonder if people hang out in the pit just to be assholes.
Sometimes, sure. I used to hang out in GD mostly, but of late here is more likely where I’d be. Can get the same sort of debate type of thing going, and every now and then I get to be snippy and call some one an asshole -which I have to refrain from IRL. Plus you get all the updates on big events (bannings etc) in here. I don’t know the OP at all. and she may well be a helluva nice person. can’t tell it from this thread though. and, FWIW, (ie not much), I just generally don’t like this type of thread “I’m leaving and here’s why”. It reminds me of when I was a kid in grade school and wanted to play on the merry go round but didn’t want the other kids to have it go around and around (made me dizzy). I’ve matured (slightly) since then. 
I like the debate here too, but the standards of evidence are lower. I guess it’s a tradeoff for the higher entertainment value.
You also demonstrate what I was talking about in my earlier post. Personally, I don’t see Ana as being that much more of an attention whore than the rest of us. Even now I don’t since I think she had a point. Yet, a bunch of posters just jump right in with the usual comments seemingly without considering the rest of the OP, though it did help to reinforce her point.

A few people have posted that they’ve seen her EVERYWHERE, all the time, and then she pops up again with this thread - that’s what’s getting her painted with the AW brush. I think if some poster with 4 posts over 5 years posted and said “I think I’ll avoid the pit” people would be less likely to haul out the AW name.

So, she’s an attention whore based on her post count? You might want to compare your post count and join date with her post count and join date before you make that particular argument.
That’s silly. By that token Guin and Liberal are the biggest whores on the board if we are going by post count.
Maybe we need to set a standard of measurement. I think anyone with a post count above…oh heck, let’s say mine, is an attention whore.
