I'm going to be on Jeopardy tonight!

I missed what the final jeopardy answer and question was, can someone please spoil it for me. And sorry about the outcome, AW, did you still get some parting gifts? Especially sorry you lost to that smarmy accountant. Can you explain again how the buzzing in works? Do you have to wait for the answer to be read completely?

Answer [paraphrased]:

“This first movie rated PG-13 also lent its colorful name to a 2003 raid in Iraq”

Question:

What is Red Dawn?

I pity the poor lady who lost $5500 on Duncan Phyfe. Duncan Phyfe! Who the hell is Duncan Phyfe!* :smack:

  • A rhetorical question since I looked him up in my Dictionary of Furniture. Finally, a use for it!

Let’s face it, Teresa wasn’t exactly the shiniest penny in the roll.

The bald dude looked like his head was made from a big lump of clay with a slit for a mouth.

I’ve missed both shows ( sorry, Frank! ) but I was with you in thought.

I haven’t watched Jeopardy in years…and I use to be addicted to it and can still be easily sucked in if I do catch it.

OK, I admit it: I didn’t read this thread until now because I’m still pissed.

I qualified for Jeopardy! about a year ago, and they called last October wanting me to go on the show, and I had a business trip that week that I couldn’t get out of (the only business trip of my entire life so far, btw). And I’m still so, SO resentful and bitter about it that I couldn’t click on this thread and come say something nice.

But now I’m over it. Or over it enough to sincerely say Congratulations! I wish I’d seen it; I was even around the TV at Jeopardy!-time today, but didn’t turn it on. Sounds like you made it to a second day, at least; good for you.

Was it as great as I think it must be???

What a complete waste of Daily Doubles for that guy in the middle.
100 dollars!!!

Twice!!!

Give me a break.

I wanted to strangle that guy.

Oh, well. Great job Augest.

PS. Can I borrow about three fifty?
