Orly Taitz.
Shit. Thanks for ruining my day.
Apologies if someone’s already linked to this in this thread, but here’s a link to the Alberta birth certificate, published in an article in the Dallas Morning News a couple of years ago: Dual citizenship may pose problem if Ted Cruz seeks presidency
Mine, too.
He didn’t have to buy somebody else’s name – he used his own name:
The best thing you can do for us Republicans is to get Ted Cruz out of the election. Put me on the Birther Band Wagon ™ too.
Saint Cad ®
Give The Donald credit for consistency. He’s birthering Cruz too.
As was pointed out repeatedly during Obama’s first run - no one. In fact, Arizona got shot down as a racist state when they tried to pass a law that someone had to prove their eligibility. If a 20 year old* wanted to run there is no mechanism in place at the state level to stop them. MAYBE the Vice-President could take over under the terms of the 25th Amendment as ineligibility means “that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office” and maybe a Representative and Senator could object to the electors voting for such a candidate but those are all after the election.
There have been cases of non-NBCs running on very minor third-party tickets and they have never been disqualified from running. The ineligible candidates all claim that the vice-president-elect would become President were they to be elected.
*Not correctable since they will not turn 35 during the term they were elected for.
If Trump runs, can we demand a birth certificate for that thing on his head. It is sentient, right?
Hmm…glad you weren’t living in the 1850s…
Hey, it was the Democrats who abolished slavery. Didn’t you know that?
Ooh, what a sick burn!
I was ready to dismiss Ted Cruz birtherism until I read “born in Delaware”.
Delaware.
Sure…
The most disturbing thing about that birth certificate is that Cruz is the first serious (well, sort of) presidential candidate that I’ve noticed is younger than me.
Welcome to my world. Although you will not be a citizen until we actually elect one that is younger.
That having been said, let me warmly encourage the Dems to spend as much energy as possible on this issue. Let’s see you really nail your colors to the mast on this one. Because the one thing you want to fix in the voters’ minds is that you can be just as batshit as the worst Republican around.
Regards,
Shodan
They will use humor and ridicule and they will be effective. Pointing out batshit is not as batshit as really being batshit.
Share the pain, that’s what I always say.
Sharing is caring, commie.
I hope he gets cruzified. His grandstanding cost me my job in 2013 when the government shutdown meant no more funding. May that ivory tower he preaches so loftily from be rammed firmly up his ass.
I guess the hens have come home to roost. When you court the crazies, this is what you get:
From US News & World Report - Ted Cruz Inherits ‘Birthers’ With Presidential Bid
Canada-born Cruz may face lawsuits from the same people who questioned Obama’s eligibility.

As a friend of mine put it when the Tea Party first showed up, “You can’t spend 30 years dry-humping the crazy and then act surprised when the crazy wants to fuck.”
