Another vote for Dingle and the Ring of Kerry. That was some incredible landscape. I loved driving through Connor Pass and seeing the view off toward Dingle.
I WANT TO GO BACK!!!

send me an email through my profiule and I’ll mail you with the address, ruadh.
I suppose you can meet up with us later, after the food?
Since you’ve already had their pizza, and thought they were ok but not divine?
I have to get up rather early the next day, plus I’ve an engagement party on on Friday, and I’m up early all weekend, so I don’t want to eat too late.
If we’re meeting at 20.00, that means we’ve got food at about 20.30, already rather late for me.
Send me an email, and we’ll discuss it over the ganglist, if you wish!
Granuaile,
enjoy Wexford. be sure to mention that “Martin Storey is a legend” to every native you meet and I doubt you’ll have to pay for a drink all night.
Hey everyone,
I’m back in the States and already missing Ireland. Because I was traveling standby, I had to come back early or be stranded due to the Special Olympics. I came up to Dublin on the spur of the moment last week and couldn’t do anything I wanted to due to construction, traffic or just plain not being able to find it. You know its bad when the highlight of my Dublin jaunt was the kick ass breakfast roll I got in a Maxol station off the N11. As I told my friend, “It has beans in it!” So, the next time I go over I will definitely have to get one of you kind Dub Dopers to show me around.
The sun was splitting the stones in Wexford and the beaches were beautiful. And even though it’s 7am, I’d murder a vodka and Club orange.
Thanks to everyone who invited me up to the pizza party. (btw, how did it go?) I hope that the next time I go over I will get a chance to meet you all rather than going back and forth on the M50 with “Where the F*** is Inchicore” as my mantra.
G.
PS to Twisty: Martin Storey, Larry O’Gorman and Sean Flood are gods. When Wexford won the '96 Hurling championship the Team came to San Francisco. I went to a party being held for them and while I was at the bar ordering, Flood tapped me on the shoulder and asked if I’d like a drink. I said yes and the next thing I knew Storey, O’Gorman and Flood were lifting the McCarthy Cup to my lips. I don’t know about anyone else but I thought that was all different kinds of cool.
always welcome, you know that.
Pizza do went fine, was over rather quickly as it was a school night
but we had fun. Well, I had, anyway. There were only 4 of us, though, so we could’ve used your company!
Glad you made it back OK.
