Yes, sometime during my holidays in the last two weeks of June and the first two weeks of July, I’ll be spending some days in Montreal, and maybe going as far as Quebec City.
I’d like to explore the Metro, do some drawing, and visit some museums (architecture? cartooning/animation? history?) and other good stuff.
Nightlife? I’m not a drinker or a smoker, but I will make a valiant attempt to dance if need be. 
Music? Rock, various forms of electronic (Trance, Ambient, etc). I know little of Jazz, and avoid Country. What’s a person to do when their musical tastes don’t match their demographic?
French? Last time I was in Montreal, ten years ago, I was absolutely terrified of opening my mouth to try to speak French, and I spent three days barely saying a word. Now, however, I’m learning a few scraps of the language, and hope to not embarrass myself too badly. (A trip to Europe cured me of the fear of languages at least…)
So… any montrealais up for entertaining a visitor from that notoriously-underfunded non-stylish megalopolis to the west?
Guess I’ll go in June then!
