More right-wing butthurt:
Erick Erickson, having a sad for the ham and cheese that yesterday’s marchers wouldn’t be turning into sandwiches. (Good to know that 1972-era sexism is still alive and well.)
Michael Flynn, Jr., the son of our incoming National Security Adviser, claiming that women already have equal pay, so what do they really want, free mani/pedis?
Piers Morgan, calling yesterday’s protests “anti-democratic.” (Guess it’s anti-democratic to actually use one’s First Amendment right of peaceable assembly. Who knew?)
John Cardillo: “Wrap this up girls. My shirts aren’t going to iron themselves.” (See comment after Erickson.)
And of course, that ancient standby: if a conservative can’t argue intelligently against women who are protesting, insult their looks, call them “overweight,” “homely,” “troll-like,” and “a freak show.” (Jim Hoft, Sheriff David Clarke, and Alex Jones) Because to conservatives, a woman’s value is mainly in her appearance.
That’s a lot of butthurt there, isn’t it?
I’m looking forward to hearing conservatives slamming the hell out of this bullshit, and prove me wrong about these attitudes being representative of conservatism in general. No, really, I’d love to see it happen, because it would mean that finally, conservatives, whatever bullshit they routinely condone, will finally have found this anti-woman garbage to be over the line.
Needless to say, I’m not expecting it.
