I'm gonna have to pit all you butt-hurt snowflakes

Nope. Your follow-up shows you were indeed aware that birtherism existed (i.e. my reference to it doesn’t catch you by surprise), so when you said:
“But you know as well as I do that there was no coordinated effort against Obama from the right in the way of mass protests or trying to get the election overturned”
…you were clearly lying. Did birtherism come “from the right” ? Was it an effort to “get the election overturned” ?

Those were efforts on my part to be generous to you - that you might have a specific definitions of “coordinated” and “mass” in mind, such that recent Democrat efforts qualify but eight years of birtherism and the gatherings of people brandishing nooses for Obama do not.

My generosity was clearly wasted.

So now you recognize that both sides are involved? Finally. It was your claimed innocence of the right that was your comically blatant lie. I don’t have to (and did not) accuse you of supporting birtherism, but I can casually and with the evidence of your own words accuse you of being conveniently forgetful that a lot of people on the right did indeed support birtherism and for a very long time.

It’s such a crying shame that the Democrat Party stole Hillary’s other national popular vote win from her at their 2008 Democrat Party Convention. But Hillary is used to losing elections according to the rules.

You realize this makes you responsible for the factional discord that will erupt into the Third Asteroid Belt War in 2671, between the “Elucidator the Holy One Shopped On Wednesdays” cult and the “Thursday Firsters” coalition?

It’ll be a brief war, though. Both sides will be hampered by centuries of inbreeding and religious disinformation and just repeatedly shoot themselves in the foot.

That’s right, Hillary lost. Very good, doorhinge, you were paying attention. If someone can help remove your mouth guard, I’ll give you a nice cookie for being such a well-behaved and clever boy.

He’ll say those are raisins. Don’t trust him.

Good catch. There was a LOT of that, at all levels… from Mitch McConnell on down to the Tea Baggers.

In Congress we had The Party Of No. On the streets we had the Tea Party.

So, bullshit.

Sure… an appeal to all the closet racists.

Unlike your boy, she didn’t start yammering about fixed elections and “second amendment solutions”. She also didn’t have the stink of Russian interference on her.

Well, I guess closet racists like affirmation, too.

No coordinated effort? Seriously?

Protesting Obama was the whole reason behind the fucking Tea Party, which persists to this day. Or had you forgotten?

Hillary’s got the stank of 2-time Presidential loser on her. And it was only those in the Democrat Party that screwed her in 2008. Maybe the Democrat Party should change their rules BEFORE asking the states to change their rules? Sort of a lead-by-example, kind of thing. But Hillary sure can draw that national popular vote. Almost as if it mattered in any Presidential elections?

Just curious: I’ve never heard of the Democrat Party. What is it? I know Clinton is with the Democratic Party, but what’s the Democrat Party?

WHAT? Has anyone told her? Is she going to go on one of those relaxing European pastry-sampling tours that Al “is that a cheesecake” Gore went on after he twice conceded defeat for POTUS?

Yes, doorhinge, you said that earlier. Very good! Now what other things can we think of to talk about? Why don’t you tell me about your favorite toy?

<sotto voce> He’s actually having a pretty good day today, as far as acting out. I think we’re making some real progress. It’s just such a shame that his mother was such a heavy drinker.

In the beginning, it was more difficult for the Party of No when they didn’t have as many seats in the U.S. Congress. Thankfully, the voters corrected that error. In both Houses of Congress.

With the help of the Tea Party voters, of course.

Hahahaha. I loved you in the movie Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. You were played by Steve Martin. Oklahoma! Oklahoma! Oklahoma! Oklahoma! You’re hysterical.

Yeah, I remember how delighted you conservatives were back when you got congressional victories in the 2002 elections because it would make it easier for you to invade Iraq, too.

The Trump Administration and the 115th Congress are shaping up to be an even yuuuuuger accomplishment than that.

You remember that? I wonder if anyone else does? You’re saying that people voted in 2002 because they wanted to invade Iraq?

Sure, that was one of Bush’s major campaign schticks in 2002 when stumping for Republicans: the national-security issue, “vote Republican or the Dems will let Saddam Hussein come over here and eat your babies”.

That’s a major reason why the administration pushed so hard to have the war authorization vote in October, when many incumbent Democrats were nervous that if they didn’t vote for the invasion, the Republicans would throw them out the following month.

And hey, Saddam Hussein didn’t come over here and eat our babies, so the whole enterprise must have been a resounding success!

We can look forward to many more similarly resounding successes under Trump and his Republican Congress.
