I'm gonna have to pit all you butt-hurt snowflakes

You think you’ve made an argument, when really all you’ve done is made a ‘a just lie down and take it’ statement.

To remind him that the majority of Americans who voted did not voted, so that he does not get comfortable with thinking he has a mandate. To remind this Presidential Rapist that he is being watched and that his fickle fans will not save him if he fucks up royally. To remind him that it is only due to an antiquated electoral system designed to reduce people’s votes so that slave states and flyover states could retain excess amounts of influence. *Also to remind people who are genuinely threatened by Trump’s violent rhetoric, bile, and racism that they are not alone in opposing this bloated muppet that somehow got elected. *

If you don’t like the fact that there are people protesting him, then just get the fuck out of the way and stop complaing.

You can do it less verbosely and without making five posts in a row. You’re not fighting ignorance, you’re just an annoyance. I actually have no idea of which side you’re on, since your ridiculous posting style makes me just skim over your posts. And I’m sure many posters have just put you on ignore; unfortunately, I can’t.

Creepy sing song voice: “Join us. We all float down here”

Give it a shot. Otherwise you come off as a lunatic who has no clue how to pick battles and we have The Dam Show.

Now if only I could block posts responding to the guy on my ignore list. :stuck_out_tongue:

You can demonstrate to Trump (and anyone else who cares to see it) that there are large numbers of citizens who disagree with his agenda and methods, and that as president of the whole nation that their concerns have support and should be addressed.

Silly? Not in the slightest. If it was coal miners or auto workers who were afraid of losing their jobs, I wouldn’t just say “you lost, suck it up, snowflakes”. Now, I may think they’re misguided in who they blame for their problems or how they think they can be solved, but I don’t just dismiss their efforts to draw attention to a cause.

Tip: concatenating them all into one long post won’t help.

No, but simply pointing to a previous post would.

Exactly. And once Hillary had introduced legislation to improve their lot, and the Republicans in Congress had blocked it (like what frequently happened when Obama was President), I’d have urged them to protest in front of RNC HQ, conveniently located just a few blocks south and east of the Capitol.

Well, since you’ve confessed that you did, in fact, assert that it was not reasonable to attack Trump in any way before the refugee order, I suppose we can finish this subthread.

Dam, dummi, why are you so bitter?

You have butthurt snowflakes on your mind, a lot. And retarded people. Close to home?

And the societal problem you have to address: There is too much foresight being used to determine what don the con will do tomorrow! We need to wait a little longer! How dare one be observant! Isn’t this America?

Take what? What was there to “take”
He hadn’t done anything yet.

So the protest was to remind a guy that just won an election that the supporters of the losing candidate were keeping an eye on him? Yeah the executive order shows exactly how seriously THAT threat was taken.

Do you have a cite for his rape conviction? Or are you hyperventilating?

So the Electoral college was designed to give these flyover states (most of which didn’t exist in 1789) an excess amounts of influence? :dubious:

So the electoral college was meant to give slave states excess representation? You sure about that? Or is that more hyperventilating? At the time of the signing of the constitution, there were many more people in slave states than in free states. Remember that places like New Jersey, Maryland, New York and Delaware were slave states. The electoral college was the result of the compromise between big states and small states that produced the two houses of congress (congressional delegation would be based on population and 2 senators would come from each of the states).

Do you need a paper bag or something?

Duty calls. Yes, I know. Everyone here is (various degrees of) wrong, and all are bathing in liberal hypocrisy for hating on Trump. Also, without your helpful posts, they’ll never realize just how/when/or to what extent their wrongness exists; but trust me, it’s okay. It’s okay to let them “be wrong.” It’s okay to let someone else have the final word. It’s okay to make a unique/useful/quality post and then watch it slowly be buried with the influx of other posters. It’s all okay.

And before you inform me. Yes, I also know that I’m wrong too. I’m probably not accurately defining or describing your situation. However, I’m just trying to let you know it’s probably not useful (to whatever your viewpoint is) to post in such absurd amounts in a thread.

I used to multiquote then people complained that I was skipping issues and camoflauging the omission by multiquoting. Sometimes issues are more complicated that “that’s guys disagrees with me on something so he must disagree with me on everything” I’m sorry that I’m forcing you to think but none of the easy answers are actually answers.

I’m generally a moderate liberal. But when I see silliness on the liberal side of the fence I call it out. Perhaps this habit of calling out silly liberals comes from my confidence that we have facts and logic on our side so the silly bullshit only serves to provide ammunition for the other side to paint us as silly to the folks in the middle who think they are choosing between conservative evil or liberal idiocy. There is a saying in DC about how the middle views conservatives and liberals, its not true but it does represent how liberals and conservatives are viewed by the middle: liberals have bad ideas and conservatives are bad people.

So I should just let some liberal idiocy stand because if I call out ALL the idiots I end up posting too much?

We as a board have been successful in chasing away virtually all the stupid conservatives (and quite a few smart ones as well). Why can’t we chase away all the stupid liberals? Why do stupid liberal get a pass on this board? Why is calling them out seen as tedious but calling out a conservative turns into a pile on? Why reinforce the walls of our bubble?

Hey, people who burn books also want to burn books that quote burned books. There is no limit to intentional ignorance when you want to shut out things that conflict with your world view. Try to fight your desire for ignorance, it only leads to the dark side.

The cognitive dissonance is unpleasant enough that we now have conservatives who only consume conservative media and liberals who only consume liberal media. Conservatives who only have conservative friends an liberals who only have liberal friends.

DA, has it never occurred to you that you’re being baited? If you’re repeating responses to the same arguments, why not simply post a link to the original response rather than continuing The Dam Show? All you’re doing now is getting more people to ignore you.

And how’s that working out for you? Did it stop the executive action or was it ultimately just an expression of frustration that Trump won the election?

Don’t get me wrong. I was in denial for a week after the election. Watching Trump get sworn in was a surreal experience, I couldn’t really wrap my mind around the fact that this guy was going to be our president. But we have to deal with the fact that this guy is going to be our POTUS for the next 4 years.

I don’t think I would say “you lost, suck it up snowflakes” But too much of the reaction from then left was just a big prolonged tantrum over an unexpected loss.

Hrmmm, let me think about that. That might work.

I think some of the people here are being unfair and engaging in liberal orthodoxy but you’re just retarded. If I quoted some of your conspiracy theories about Trump, I think most people would agree that you are a retard and do more harm to your side than good.
