No, you’re not wrong. I may have been too diligent in policing the board for liberal orthodoxy. I have a particular aversion to ideological purity tests, I think I will start using shorthand to address arguments that keep getting repeated over and over again. I used to do this by demanding that people address my points before repeating their point but almost no one ever bothers to do so.
So wait, I am being trolled with accusations of trolling? Well it looks like 40 of those 110 posts were posted after the accusations of trolling started flying around and quite a few of the posts prior to that was addressing the issue of the enforcement of liberal orthodoxy so…
And he’s had to roll back on a bunch of things because of outrage and protests. The demonstrations at the inauguration were a warmup.
Given Trump’s ridiculous reactions to inauguration crowd sizes, the initial post-election protests, and the Popular vote I’d say he’s definitely feeling the effects of them.
Please learn some history. Even in the 18th century it could be seen that the populations of the Northern states (some of which had legal slavery but nowhere to the systematic level in the Southern states) were growing much faster than the Southern ones. The desire to not lose influence in the Southern states combined with the smaller Northern States (DE, RI) desire to not get outpaced in population just from lack of real estate led to the Electoral college. The result is what we have now, which is ludicrous and outdated. It encourages non-participation in states that are overwhelmingly in favor of one party and reduces the value of a vote in more populous regions.
But more to the point, as I said (and you dodged like a coward):* to remind people who are genuinely threatened by Trump’s violent rhetoric, bile, and racism that they are not alone in opposing this bloated muppet that somehow got elected.*
You complain about liberal orthodoxy, then dodge one of the main reasons anyone protests.
I’d like to congratulate Damuri. I’ve long held that the ignore list is nought but a tool for the weak; those who can’t ignore people the old fashion way … by ignoring them. But he has now succeeded in cracking me. I am weak. I now have an ignore list which is one name long.
I apologize to the Central Cynics Committee for my transgression, but my fucking scroll finger cramps up in every goddamned thread he posts in.
Wow, dummi, you are on some kind of trip. The problem is that it requires that you never answer anyone directly. Or quote anyone honestly.
You talk about me a lot. So go ahead and quote me on trump. Make my day. I have posted a few times. Try to say one thing you haven’t already beaten into the ground. With a point. Not just name calling and concern trolling. Don’t be a repetitive, pedantic bore.
You are losing the sympathy of “most people” so I wouldn’t poll them on our relative sanity. It wouldn’t come out like you fantasize.
How do you think it looks to use the “retard” card every time you say something to me? Do you think it makes me look retarded? Finger pointing always goes back to the finger, you know. Do you even remember what it was you said was retarded, and who said it? Are you just a bot or something?
There’s a link to every thread’s postcount/posters from the default forum page. Go to the default forum page, and look to the far right column named “Replies” (between the “Last Post” and “Views” columns).
Over the last 200 years, for the most part it’s worked out pretty well. I see no reason for the last few months to make me give up on the next 200 years.
You’re not being accused of “crying sheeple” because of your monomaniacal focus on liberal molehills to the exclusion of the conservative Himalayas behind you. No, you’re being accused of crying sheeple for your persistent characterization of disagreement with you as being due to your brave challenging of the
when in fact it’s because you’re an angry asshole.
Well allegedly his conversation with the Australian PM included a lot of bragging about himself and then hanging up mid-tantrum when he didn’t get his way.
