Clothahump is always butt-hurt. If his side loses, he whines like a little girl. If his side wins, he whines if anyone complains about them winning.
It’s like being told your test results came back positive and you have cancer. And then being told to stop whining and get over it.
This isn’t about getting over the fact that Trump won the election. That’s over. What we’re experiencing now is the dread that he’s going to be President for the next four years.
So…where did you go, Humpy? Dropped a turd in the Pit and ran away again, eh?
Not only are you a whiny butthurt troll, you’re a gutless pussy coward, too.
Yup. Endless criticism and complaining, blaming everything bad on the president, attempting to delegitimize the president (which is actually based on fact in this case) works. Voters reward that behavior.
The fact that republicans are getting upset means we are doing it right. Fine by me. I like how now the GOP is calling on Obama to end the ‘unfair efforts to de-legitimize’ Trump. The same party that sat back and did nothing while their base accused Obama of being a kenyan born Muslim.
But again, not the same thing. The conspiracies against obama were all made up. The criticisms of Trump are valid and factual (ties to russia, manchurian candidate, dangerously unqualified, etc).
Probably knocked out by another four-year old.
Or he saw one of those scary scary brown people and he’s hiding under his bed.
Try not to pee on yourself this time, Humpy!
I know the feeling that you’re on a great comedy roll with the quips bursting out of you like baby xenomporphs, but making a Dr. Seuss reference isn’t really a point of pride unless you at least make the minimal effort to put it in rhyme.
Or at least invoke an image like a devastated wasteland, marked by the stump of the last Trumpala tree with UNLESS carved into it.
What matters is the tool of labeling things “intolerant” in order to suppress debate.
It’s not really much of an intellectual exercise to recognize and point out when someone is arguing in favour of ideas that would actually suppress debate, i.e. can you spot the distinction between:
- I oppose a particular person speaking at my university and I will protest it.
- I think the United States is a Christian country and all other religions should be suppressed or banned.
In both cases, the speaker is expressing a negative opinion about someone else, but it would take a conscious act of disingenuity to pretend they are equally “intolerant” and should be met with equal reactions.
Yeah they are different. And both are wrong.
Equally wrong? In what ways are they different?
First.
It took you a few hours to come up with this?
Second, I’d bet me second ball you did not get the reference without thinking about it awhile, if not actually doing some net research.
And you didn’t?
I’m just amazed that you actually thought that was an obscure reference.
Just because nobody jumped at your lame challenge doesn’t mean nobody knew what you were talking about. Some of us just didn’t give a flying shit.
Also, I’m sure many are like me, barely offering your posts attention since November, when you, like surprisingly many Dopers I used to at least consider neutrally, transformed into a profoundly epic uber-asshole.
Another hours later response…
You guys are too funny…
No not equally wrong. The government has far more power than a random nobody protesting. But don’t discount the chilling effect a mob of individuals can have. What good is a right if it can’t be exercised because of mobs?
Bingo.
The right to “free speech”…whether it be some legalistic crap applying to government actions…or a mob mentallity that decides any speech other than what the mob approves of…lest you get fired, labeled a social leper…and your life ruined…
that ain’t no fucking free speech…
Wow, you really are stupid if you think people are reading these messages in real time.
Awww…butt hurt loser much?
Standards, norms and traditions don’t mean shit to Trump, his fans or the GOP. The fans love him for being unconventional. But then they expect the Democrats to adhere to those traditions - the peaceful transition of power, respecting the office of President - and then get all upset when we don’t. Fuck that. They don’t have a leg to stand on when they are the ones who threw the rule book out the window.
