I'm into word puzzles tonight..

Name a common word, besides tremendous, stupendous, and
horrendous, that ends in -dous.

What are the four common English words ending in “-dous”

Geez…you coulda just said hazardous.

There’s also the commonly used slang term “fantabulous” as in “fantastically fabulous” popular among black outfit wearing, Galouis smoking, Rayban wearing, too cool for school interior decorators and art school students.

DOH! “-Dous” sorry about that…never mind.

howzabout-----monstrous,miraculous and wondrous?

Ezstrete,
howzabout-----reading the op?

Is there a rock pile in your glass house?----one that’s labeled,“for mistakes only”.

Ezstrete,

Maybe I was a little harsher than your posts warranted, but you must admit that you did deserve some sort of smart ass response.

Not only did you not read the OP correctly, two posts before yours someone else made the same mistake which they pointed out in the post before yours, in a thread with a question that was answered in a column by Cecil which was linked in the second post and which had the crux of the column revealed in the third post. The thread is not that long and reading almost any other post in it’s entirety would have prevented your errant post.

Hey LT

Just read your response 'n I kin only axe ya-----wuddid ya say!

"s’been fun-----ezstrete is outa the compound!

Tremulous, wondrous, conscious…

I’m sure I could come up with a few more if I really put my mind to it.

-dous, DVous. Sigh

I’ve noted quitea few duhs on this thread, already (although most of them have been unspoken).

“irregardous”

What?

I think we’ll file that one away with facetiousgry
