I'm late, I'm late! (a late MMP from Spain)

Li-li - that ugly ring is at least colorful

picu - given the circumstances, you are allowed to whine. I hope your doc is able to do something to make it better

Nava - “picufinger”?, I suppose, then, it’s a good thing she didn’t get a door slammed on her face… [sub]picunose[/sub]

Oh, and I’m a very very very very unhappy Mets fan today, grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

::Sends feel better vibes to Dotster::

Speaking of people with dots in their names: check in, Dottygumdrop! We want to know how you’re doing.

Glad you had a fun date, Spats. Please note: you checked in after your curfew. Make sure she knows that you know you’re impatient… Dancing sounds promising.

That ring is amazingly ugly. I think I’ll pass.

Sounds like jobs are all coming out of the woodwork for you, Nava. Yay! Yes, it would be disconcerting to apply for one job and wind up doing another. At least you’re qualified for it. I have a friend who was in a similar situation, but the real job wasn’t one she was quaified for or one she even wanted to be qualified for. She didn’t last.

My cell phone battery is starting not to hold a charge. It’s almost time to renew my contract, so I’ll probably change my phone over the weekend. Any favorite phones out there? Any to avoid? (I’m going to go look for threads about this over the weekend, and maybe start a new one, but figured I’d start here…)

Off to work.

GT

I did not get stranded in Minneapolis. However, my 11:50 A.M. flight from Etlanner to home did not happen until 4:15 P.M. yesterday.   I spent almost six freakin’ hours in the Etlanner airport. Needless to say I did not go do the fundraiser thing here last night. I was just too tired and enough folks had signed up anyhow, so that was good. Instead ACBG and I went for pizza and then I got “welcomed home.”

I have not read the whole MMP so, YAY! BOO! YIKES! CONGRATS! I’M SORRY! and so forth wherever they are needed. Ok, off to start my glorious day at work.

I’m convinced that Atlanta does not exist, Coca-cola propaganda notwithstanding.

I’ve changed Greyhounds at its bus station and planes at its airport, but never saw no town. The facts that the bus change was at something like 11am-3am and the airport stop took place in a cloudy day are irrelevant.

Yes, it’s Friday and I’m kind of bored but for some reason getting questions about Budgets and Warehousing. I realize every problem is Quality’s fault, but really, that doesn’t mean we hold all the solutions. If we did, we’d charge on a per-case basis and be floating in money.

I also meant to say - **Dotster ** - take care of yourself, and eat something.

Hi, all. Back from my bout with the Martian Death Flu, this time for real, I hope. Apparently I got up and started trying to play catch-up too soon – it didn’t help that I had three looming deadlines when I got sick – but in the process of getting two of them done, ended up sending myself back to bed for most of another day. This morning I at least feel semi-human, plus I didn’t have the weird effects from my new medication last night that I’d had for the first three nights, so presumably that’s a good sign. Sometimes I really, really hate my work ethic, though. I know that getting sick happens to everyone. It’s just not supposed to happen to me when I have a bunch of deadlines looming.

Anyway, I’ve read through quickly but don’t have time to properly respond except to ask you to fill in  :dubious:   :frowning: where appropriate. Back to playing catch-up. Happy freaking Friday.

spats, dahlink, down boy! Take some deep breaths and try not to scare off this young woman. She probably likes you a LOT so savor the moments.

YAY!!! It’s Friday!!! YAY!! Do we have somebody for Monday? I can’t remember.

Today I need to get the billing rolling along. I’ll do all the easy parts of it today and leave the hard stuff for Monday. Who knows, maybe I’ll win the lottery or an asteroid will strike the earth or some such.

picu, what happened to the graft idea if your fingertip reattachment didnt’ take? Isn’t it a good sign that there is still pain?

li-li, I loved all the sapphire rings on that page. It’s my birthstone, too.

nava, hope your mom gets the picture when you ‘splain’ it that way to her.

I’m thinking Subway’s new Blackened Cajun Steak sammich for dinner tonight. I loves me some blackened beef.

Tupug

This is a reminder that I’m doin’ next week’s MMP. In case y’all forgot. Or, just a reminder so y’all will be antsy with anticipation all weekend. Or, just a reminder so y’all will remind yourselves to completely ignore next week’s MMP. Your choice. I’m all for choices.

Oh, and no whining over paydays so far! Guess everybody’s now reconciled to the idea. Good. Cause it ain’t changing.

Good morning, everyone. I hope all of you get to feeling better and happy real soon.

I’m about to get ready to go on my road trip to Redneck Country. My friend asked if I ride horses! I’m excited. I haven’t ridden in many moons.

The dogs are fed, I’ve had my go juice, amd now it’s time for a shower and a bite to eat. I’ll let y’all know how things went when I get back!

Have a great Friday, y’all!

Two pairs of these, in brown and black. I’ve been looking for these exact boots for more than three years, since the last pair I had went to hell. My calves are too big for regular boots to zip, so I have to have the laces, too. And they’re wicked comfy.

This is new. I don’t remember you saying anything about resigning before. Is there another job opening in Wyoming, or are you headed back to Merry Olde England? (And if you’ve answered this further down, ignore this. I’m still trying to catch up.)

Hi gt! Glad I’m not forgotten.

And a big hello to Scout. My boss is still making noises about sending me to San Diego to get the Sales gerbils out there all trained up.

picu, anyone would complain in your situation.
drae, I love those boots. I wish I could wear them. I can’t wear 3 inch heels, so I’m envious of people who can.

I’m off to PT and then I think I’m going to call in sick, because I feel awful and I doubt PT will improve matters. I’ve upped my dose of Wellbutrin, but I’m worried that that’s what’s making me so jumpy and irritable. Or maybe it’s the lack of sleep. Yes, I went from 12 - 14 hours a day of sleep to 4 - 6, which is never good, I need at least 8 to function. Why don’t I ever react to drugs the way I’m “supposed” to? Grrr.

And Spats, did your date go something like this?

Good morning and happy Friday all. I’ve been very busy the last couple of days. Bet you didn’t even miss me.

Jahdra, I’m glad things are going so much better for you.

ems, I too, didn’t know you were thinking of resigning. What’s happening?

Swampy, I’m glad you made it back home safely. I know you were late and all, but at least you’re home, right?

FCM, sorry about the car thingy.

picunurse, I’m sorry about your ouchie finger. I hope the graft does take.

That ring was butt-ugly. In fact, it was fugly! Good grief. Gaudiness doesn’t even begin to do that ring justice!

I know there is so much more to address, but I have much to do again. I just wanted to pop in and say hello.

Ergh. Had tea. Must eat breakfast. Love you all, am glad Spats had a good date.
Watch for mushroom clouds when Driving Husband proposes. That’s how you’ll know. I dunno whether they’ll be good mushroom clouds, or bad ones.

Oh I sure hope so. Like I alluded to in my last post, my mind likes to play tricks on me. Especially when it comes to worrying that things aren’t right, a lovely little skill I picked up from my mother. Why couldn’t I have gotten her eyes or something instead? :dubious:

Sean, fortunately it was a tad better than that.

Pun.

Off to class.

We’re up to our nuts in puns, and we’re screwed.

Grrr. My PT is sick today. My appointment was at 7:30. So they called to cancel at 7:17, 3 minutes before I got there, and they said but we called you to cancel. I had to get more labwork done, so at least it wasn’t a total waste.

and I’m a pretty unhappy anti-baseball St. Louisan. Why does my stupid city have to be so obsessed with, of all things, BASEBALL? (my city including my parents. Who have gone insane. more insane than usual.)

Nava, I mean I hate it because it’s always sick. My body and I have already established all other hatred for each other, but we have to live together, so we’ve developed a tolerance policy. Except when it decides to be mean and get sick.

Mama Tiger, glad you’re feeling better. Keep on healing!

we need an MMP doctor. Rue only partly counts.

also, hi guys! I’m posting from school! Happy Friday!!
