One thing that might surprise us about you: I honestly can’t think of anything that would surprise anyone here, but I can thing of a few things that surprise people IRL, and I think all for the same reason: 1. I drive a Smurf-blue Beetle, 2. I love ‘classic’ or ‘stadium’ rock (not sure of the exact term - Styx, Journey, Kansas, Boston, Rush), and 3. I’m a total fashion and makeup addict. I think this stems from the fact that my wardrobe stepped right out of “The Preppy Handbook.” I don’t have the height (or the money, for that matter) for real fashion, but I watch all the Fashion Week coverage twice a year, read all the mags, etc. I just look best when I’m dressed like a ‘Muffy.’ People seem surprised that I don’t drive a basic sedan and listen to ‘soft rock.’ “Wow, you don’t seem like the type” seems to be a catchphrase when it comes to some of my tastes!
