Regular coffee from second cup is pretty blah. I used to like their chai lattes, but the store by me recently switch recipies. I decided to try it, and it was thick, and sweet as hell. It was like drinking syrup. Eugh.
Of course, I do like their espresso, and I’m usually there at least once a week with friends, so it’s not that bad of a place. I like it better than Starbucks.
Timmy Ho’s OTOH is my favorite plkace to get coffee. It’s cheap, which this student loves, and the coffee is good. It’s not great coffee, but it’s not adveertised as such either. It’s just good coffee. No pretention when ordering either. Just I’ll have a large coffee, black". No more questions. Which is good, because before my first cup of coffee, I don’t want to talk, let alone think.
