I just looked at my posts per day count and I’m not even averaging 2 posts a day and I have an extra year on you.
By my reckoning you need 4,383 by 12/23 0r 3.62 per day from here on. But who knows you could get to 4,382 and then be BANNED.

I wanna be banned on my 2,000 post. Can that be arranged?
Is that even possible? You’d have to break every single rule in one big swoop to be banned without any type of warning. But I don’t want that to happen. Who would entertain me when I’m lurking in the Pit?

you can always ask to be banned. Others have before to take an enforced break from the dope. However all you’d have to do is email a mod and ask to have your posting privileges restored so I don’t know if you’d consider that really banned.
Between being super busy at work and feeling lousy and snotty here at home, even if I started now and I don’t think I can come up with enough posts to get me to 3.0 by midnight tonight. Besides, my son and daughter in law are taking “the old man” out for my birthday tonight, so my posting time would be cut severely short anyway.
Hope nobody had any bets on me?

Happy Birthday, then. Now 3.0 + will be a reachable goal for next year.
