Matter of fact, I’m here to stay and have taken it upon myself to get to 3.0 posts before the end of the year.
I don’t think I’ll make it, but it will be fun to try. And I won’t be “post-padding” either. I’ll just seek out those posts that interest me and see if I can add a valid comment or two (or three).

Inspired by your thread I checked my profile and it seems I’m approaching 4. When you consider that I quit posting for about 6 months once and the lack of posting during the Winter of Our Missed Content, I’m not sure if I should be proud or embarrased.

I know I’m missing something here…I’ve never been good at math in the first place and also I am sicker than a dog with a sinus infection so maybe that is why this whole thing makes no sense to me.

Anyway, when you factor in the total amount of posts so far into the amount of days I have been on SDMB, you come up with 2.77 posts. Yes, I know it’s over 3 thousand posts, but that doesn’t account for posts per day which means that on some days during my membership, I didn’t post at all.

Yes, I could use one of you, actually. Although I think I might live. It was touch and go yesterday, but today I am able to make it across the room without needing a nap. Christmas was a hoot, let me tell you.
But by the time you get here, I should be all better so maybe we could just go out to dinner or something instead?

Oh, and I didn’t do anything special for the guys…you all are the ones who did it. I was just the conduit… who got to send out the thank you notes…sort of like a social secretary, you know?
