I'm really fucking bored

I just spent a week in the hospital. Got out Tuesday. Still had symptoms that pretty much make it impossible for me to leave home. This morning, I managed to go to the store all by myself. God willing, I’ll be able to actually do something tomorrow. As for now, I’m stuck. And I’ve already spent more than a week watching TV and reading. I’m really seriously bored.

Entertain me. Please.

Tell us the story of your hospital day, in excruciating detail? That should take an hour or more, I’d think.

I could play a pirate…?

I’ll be a wench, if** Anaamika**'s being a pirate.

Arr me beauty!

Have you peeked at Escape the Room Blog to see what new games are posted there yet? I rather like the game Aquaria, it’s simple, but neat and the grapics are nice. If you get stuck, gamershood forums can often give you a hint or two. Here is their topic on Aquaria.

Hey! Can I join? I can be . . . . a monkey!

Ohohoh! Ahahah! Eeeee! ::Scratch armpit:: Screeeeeeech!

I’ll write an award-winning piece of poetry for you.

Meow meow meow
Said the cute little kitty
Honk honk honk
Said the silly little goose

My tail is so pretty
And floofy to boot
But your feathers are pretty
Also
Said the kitty

Thanks
Said the goose
Let’s take naps

Unfortunately, no. I do have some hospital horror stories, but this one was… really boring. I didn’t get to eat, so I didn’t do much of anything. Just hang around and watch the IV drip.

I appreciate everybody’s efforts.

That’s the start of one of those “heard over the cockpit radio” stories:

Pilot: “I’m fucking bored.”
Air Traffic Controller: “Identify yourself!”
Pilot: “I said I’m fucking bored, not fucking stupid.”

Sorry, that’s all I got.

In that case, write a Proustian ramble about the IV dripping and how it reminds you of your mother?

I had a toenail pulled out 3 days ago. Have been with my foot up high since. My back itches from all the sitting and I have nasty cramps on my calf. I have been posting under the influence of some serious pain killers and nobody seems to have noticed the difference. Are you not entertained?

Well you could always meditate on the statement “2+2=5 for large values of 2.”
