and hope a Doper out there can help me.

I’ve been looking online for days for a specific type of pendant i can put on a silver chain I have. I’ve been searching for a carved amethyst cat pendant. I’ve been googling and googling, ebaying and ebaying…all to no avail.

Anyone have any links, connections, any freakin’ idea where I can find one of these apparently hard to find cats???

p.s. I did find something like what i wanted on ebay…but it looks like it should be in a gold chain. Maybe I should just break down and get a gold chain. But I want it for silver. Am I being unreasonable??

Go to www.firemountaingems.com and search on “amethyst cats.” $7.85 for a package of 3, and you will need to have your bead made into a pendant – use a silver headpin and accent beads if you wish.

If you don’t have a friendly jeweler/crafty person handy, let me know. I do beadwork and am on the verge of placing an order from Fire Mountain for summer supplies.

Thanks Scarlett, but not quite the kind I was looking for. I also did a search on the singular “amethyst cat” and it showed pretty much what I was looking for, but in packages of ten.
