It’s a guy I’ve had an on-again, off-again, semi “relationship” with for, oh, a decade or so. We dated once in high school and would occasionally hook up, but he was reeling from a bad relationship and never wanted anything serious.
At this point, I have no emotional investment. I enjoy his company, the sex rocks, and I’m ok with it not going further than that.
Soo… this all came about because I said I wished he was here because I didn’t want to go to the movies alone. He suggested I drive up to visit, he’d take me out tomorrow and we’d “kill time” until then.
Well, I’ve driven not-quite-that-far for booty call (3 hours), but then I made sure it was a booty call that lasted all weekend. It would really have to be worth my while if I were going to make the trip.
OTOH, it has been a long time since I’ve had a booty call, so maybe that by itself would make the trip worth while.
By the sounds of the OP, she’s the one who really wants the booty call on this occasion. Why should he drive four and a half hours just because she told him that she “wished he was here.”
If he had been the one expressing the need, you’d have a point. He wasn’t, and you don’t.
I’ve used airfare to spend time with a friend with benefits (he hosted, he paid part of my airfare, he paid all my expenses there). Heck, if I lived 4.5 hours away, either one of us would’ve tried to see each other at least once a month! Since I moved 10 hours away or so… Sigh
Well it was a rather extended booty call, I only got home a little while ago, and it included breakfast, a trip to the movies, shopping, and dinner. So it was sort of a very long date, although with sex first.
It was fun, though, I enjoyed my mini-vacation and saw a really great movie to boot.
Sounds like fun. I did that a few times back the old days - six hour drive for me, but it was to San Francisco and generally lasted the weekend. Still never did actually see much of the city on those weekends.
Fun while it lasted and fine when it ended. Glad to hear you had a good time!
I have been trying to give the TB men some love too, but the dates I’ve been going on haven’t been entirely successful. There’s a potential guy out there, but the sex won’t be happening for while, if at all.
We saw Drag Me to Hell. Hilarious, and I liked the cinematography. I wasn’t expecting it to be funny at all, but it was obvious that they were dabbling in horror-comedy. Also, pretty creepy, and it was a nice change that a lot of the scary scenes were in the middle of bright, sunny afternoons. Not going to win an Oscar, but I really enjoyed it.
