Then your OP is fundamentally flawed, because the Democratic Party and Hillary Clinton are center-right.*
I wish people would stop ignoring that fact.
*The extra emphasis on “right” is an indication that they could all be MORE “center,” and “center-right” would lose none of its accuracy.
“Democrat party” is usually used as a slur (I’ve heard two reasons stated – because some folks don’t think that the party is really “democratic”, and some like to emphasize that it ends in “rat”). It’s not a huge deal, but it’s obnoxious to use a slur when folks have asked you not to.
Snark all you want, but granting (for the sake of argument) your untenable implication that hating and feeling morally superior are the left’s raisons d’etre, there will still be the Democratic Party.
This may come as a shock to you, but simply saying"research has been done" proves absolutely nothing. Who did the"research"?
Who funded said"research?
Are you that naive, or do you simply suck down any rumor that backs your opinions?
As long as there are people who feel the need for moral superiority and hate, there will indeed be a Democrat party.
Now run along to your friends, and tell each other how smart you are, all snug in your moral and intellectual superiority.
Not too “snarky”, was I?
This fictional party sounds terrible. They certainly won’t get my support, were they to actually exist – I’ll continue to support the Democratic party.
The fictional evil Republicans sound terrible as well, were they to actually exist.
Are you a Democrat, right or wrong?
As an independent I find rabid party affiliation fascinating.
My last two Presidential votes went to Obama.
As for this one, the only thing for sure is that I won’t be voting for Obama.
The ones that slam mostly one side with slurs and innuendo then pretend they are undecided are so cute, aren’t they? Especially the ones that claim they are recent converts but can’t get stop themselves from using the base lingo of their real affiliation.
In this case I voted for the person, not necessarily the Party.
Democrats have some ideas, and ideals that speak to me, obviously.
But I’ve noticed that the party in power always goes too far, in some way or other.
The latest Democrat craze of demonizing all who dare voice any opposition,i find disquieting.
This trait was first seen, in my opinion, exhibited by the Republicans during the Reagan years, when Republicans thought they had a"mandate".
