Just from looking around, I’d say you guys have been had. Looks to be a hoax. I can’t find any relevant news items and the site that the user “radpin” links to - ostensibly a BBC site - is actually a page on his personal domain.
Yes, I know it’s a hoax; the thread I linked to eventually says so. There’s also this. Fact remains: I’m speechless.
At least four people must have been in on this: Radpin, Bruce, and the two “victims” (who surely couldn’t continue posting after being “killed”). The joke involved at least a few criminal acts, no matter how you spin it. And why did they do it? To have some fun.
