IANAD but sepsis infections can occur frighteningly fast.
** Know the signs and symptoms of sepsis.
- Shivering, fever, or very cold
- Extreme pain or discomfort
- Clammy or sweaty skin
- Confusion or disorientation
- Short of breath
- High heart rate

I’m guessing that you’re on clindamycin or (more likely) cefdinir. Eat yogurt if you can, and get well soon.
Antibiotics can be a little rough on the system. I am currently on 2000 mg of Cephalexin a day for an infected leg, and between the acid reflux, diarrhea and nausea I wonder how hard it would really be to just get along with just one leg.

The worst may be over, fever broke for the third time. Had been 104° at one point.
I do not want to go through another bout of shivering any time soon.

All we really know so far is that I’m negative for both COVID & flu.
What’s really strange is that I keep wanting to throw up but all I can manage to do is burp. I’ve never produced so much gas without acid reflux behind it. Rather difficult to be interested in food when all unoccupied space gets taken over by gas.
