That fits right into Trump’s idea of taking over all of North and South America.
I’m sure it will just involve her making a TV spot every once in a rare while, sort of like Trump’s “lawyers” whose main job is to spread propaganda on right wing talk show appearances, but otherwise just hopefully being less of a nuisance for Republicans than she has been the past year.
If you work for trump, you probably ought to get your “I’m getting fired” costume at the same time as your ‘I’m hired" costume. Noem probably isn’t smart enough to realize that fact. So she’d scramblin’.
OTOH, she has probably stolen enough moolah that she can hire a concierge shopper to hit one of the fancy stores in DC on her behalf.
He hasn’t been firing nearly as many people this time around as he did last time. His staff and cabinet have been very stable.
He “learned.” In his first term a lot of people were obviously nominated to their positions because he was told to nominate them by Republicans because they had some sort of experience, gravitas, or pull within the party, but then some of them didn’t agree with him and he hates that. This time around he only nominated drooling supplicants, to the point that some of his nominations are outright clowns to an extent never before seen in modern American history.
That’s because she knows where the skeleton are hidden! I have to believe she has her pardon in a safe place! When the smoke clears administration over time will get oversight to par with The Vietnam War! ….Countless books, Like No One Has Ever Seen Before!
I’d suggest that since this thread is about Noem and Bovino (who are both gone) that it might be better to go through the thread about Mullin in P&E for info about him and his plans for ICE.
Trump doesn’t “learn”, he adapts. Firing someone would mean he appointed the wrong person. That can never happen; it is existentially impossible. He is right, always right, always the greatest thinker and doer, the GOAT of presidents (he said so himself). He’s kept all his incredibly incompetent cabinet members because he was right to pick them. Other people make mistakes, not Donald Trump. He is infallible, unlike the soft, weak Pope who keeps admitting error. Perfection incarnate, the new Jesus, the new God. Noem is at fault for not resigning sooner. His new pick is the perfect pick for the position and will be for the rest of eternity, well into Trump’s third and fifteenth terms. The dictionary has his picture next to the word “stable”. “I’m a very stable genius,” he said, frothing at Merriam-Webster for not putting his picture next to the word “genius”. And the word “a”. Don’t hold your breath waiting for the next shoe to fall. There will be no more shoes, not even after they have dropped.
