Improper music at improper times.

This could easily be one of those Simpsons episodes that exists solely in my memory.

Speaking of memory:
Memories” at an Alzheimer’s support group.

I’m getting married next year, and thanks to you, I’m now giving this song very serious consideration. Not that it rings true, but I think it would be hilarious.

Hey, I better get an invite.

Or at least a videotape of the honeymoon.

At my wedding reception, the harpist who was supposed to provide standard background music played “Suicide is Painless”.

Made me laugh out loud, and garnered her a hefty tip.

Which person’s room should the camera go in?

Well, if it’s the honeymoon, I’d suggest placing the camera in the bride’s hotel room.

At a wedding: Jimmy Soul’s If You Wanna Be Happy

If you wanna be happy for the rest of your life
Never make a pretty woman your wife
So from my personal point of view
Get an ugly girl to marry you

I was a bridesmaid at a wedding where the newlywed’s dance was, I kid you not, “Freebird.”

But this one is a combined inappropriate/most embarrassing moment in my life:

Picture this, a 40-something woman, happily partnered for 12 years develops friendship with 22 YO. Friendship turns to mutual crush, crush gets a bit touchy-feely one tipsy night, one week later both of them are at a coffee shop trying to sort out this whole mess. What comes on? Rod Stewart’s “Maggie May.”

…or an invitation to the wedding…hmm…let me think about it.

I once had a little lap harp with me on a ferry and player the theme tune to Titanic for a laugh.

Some people thought this was romantic. Others thought about it a bit longer…

Episode 7F24 “Stark Raving Dad”, the one with Michael Jackson.

And “Baby Come Back” was in 8F14 “Homer Alone”.

Another funny one from the Simpsons is 8F07 “Saturdays of Thunder”. While Homer’s on hold with the Fatherhood Institute, the hold music is “Cat’s in the Cradle”.

Actually, I’ve been asked to play that a number of times in the past and many of those times it came from the bride and groom’s preferred song list.
When I read the op my first thought was Pat Benetar’s “Hell is for Children” playing in the waiting room of the children’s hospital.

I’m gonna wash my mouth with soap for even thinking about that one.
