On February 10th only, McDonald’s will be releasing a limited supply of caviar kits that you can get for free online. It includes Baerii Sturgeon caviar (AKA “McNugget Caviar”), a $25 McDonald’s gift card, crème fraîche, and a caviar spoon. McDonald’s and caviar is such a bizarre combination that it’s just crazy enough to work. Surprise your significant other with Micky D’s caviar for Valentine’s Day! ![]()
That’s weird.
Filet-Ova-Fish.
Yanno, when I think caviar, I think McD’s!!
Wonder when they’ll offer McLobster??
Eh, I’ve never had caviar before. And even if it sucks, there’s a $25 gift card which won’t got to waste, even if it will be a pain not being able to use the app. (wtf?) I figured I might as well try for it.
Hmmm. I thought McNuggets were a chicken product. So I wondered, wouldn’t “McNugget Caviar” just be eggs?
Yeah, I was expecting some special limited-edition thing with eggs or, more likely, actual Chicken McNuggets that was eaten like caviar.
It seems it’s literally just a McDonald’s reloadable gift card, and the McNuggets are just being used for marketing, to get people to talk about how silly it sounds. The caviar is a partnership with some other company, who is probably gonna get more advertising this way.
It doesn’t seem to be cheap cavir, either.
Again weird thing to give away. The supply has to be limited.
I wonder if they are as rubbery as the eggs in their Egg McMuffin.
