I wonder if he’s still going to pay tuition if St Andrew’s doesn’t fully reopen?
Taking potshots at the children of famous people is completely wrong, whether or not you like their parents.
Now if the kid does something wrong, like committing a crime, that’s different. But just being the offspring of someone famous or notorious, makes you off limits.
There’s no “potshot” at the child here, it’s nothing to do with anything the child himself has done, no invasion of the child’s privacy. It’s entirely about the decisions his father is making. When the president is doing such an appallingly incompetent job and 150,000 people are dead, it’s perfectly reasonable to question every aspect of his behavior.
Not the child. Leave the kids out of it
Riemann is very obviously referring to the president’s behavior, not the
kid’s.

Yes the president’s behavior is appalling. Barron Trump is a little boy. Leave him out of it. You don’t think he has a smart phone?
He is out of it. We’re talking about Trump.
And Trump’s minor child. Is it is appropriate to discuss Barron Trump in the light of the pandemic?
While we can debate Trump’s decision or reccommendation that school’s reopen. Keep the kids out of it.
discuss Barron Trump
Not discussing Barron Trump. Discussing his FATHER and his hypocritical insistence on forcing schools to reopen when they don’t feel safe doing so. It’s been stated repeatedly throughout the thread. Show one post where Barron is discussed.
The Title
Then discuss his FATHER and his hyypocritical insistence on forcing schools to reopen when they don’t feel safe doing so. In a thread about that topic.
Not one about a little boy that has nothing to do with it.
Oh, sorry. I didn’t realize that after 23 thread posts agreeing to only discuss trump, not the son, you were going all the way back to the OP. The discussion had already moved way past the OP.

Here’s the question being proposed:
“Mr Trump, you are proposing throwing all the children in the country into a wood chipper. You have a child. If you successfully get wood chippers authorized, are you planning to throw your own child into the wood chipper?”

Mr. Obama, why do the poor children of Washington DC get sent to crappy public schools ( the wood chipper) while you send your children to private the Sidwell Academy?
I thought it was inappropriate to bring up Obama’s kids then. And i think it’s inappropriate to bring up Trumps kids now.

Hey now. Three of Trump’s kids work for him doing semi-government business. Still not okay to talk about them either?
Minor children (barron/ malia/ sasha) are off limits. adult children are fair game.
See title of thread.
If you don’t see the difference between Ivanka and Barron…well
Tiffany’s the one I find most interesting, to be honest. She gets shut out of everything. I wonder what she knows…
It would be inappropriate to talk about Barron Trump’s particulars: Mr. President, how does Barron feel about his school being closed? Mr. President, is Barron worried about getting COVID at school and spreading it to you, his aged father? THAT would be inappropriate. Literally nobody is doing that. Nobody. A minor child’s privacy should be protected. His father’s hypocrisy should not. There’s a general principle involved here, and it’s an important one.
This idea that we should all pretend the President has no minor children is a very new one. In fact, it’s only cropped up since Trump was elected, and oddly enough, it only when it might show up the President for the fool he is.
So we should not ask Obama how Sasha and Malia feel about going to a elite private school while the rest the children in DC go to underfunded public schools?
But we should call out him for his hypocrisy?
Ok got it.
I’d still leave the kids out of it.
