I was going to suggest looking into some volunteer situations, but then I looked up your town. It’s about the same size as this little place where I live! (And that’s small!) I see though, that October 2007 Playboy of the Month Spencer Scott is from there. Maybe you can keep each other company when she visits home? 
Actually, you’re a lot closer to Atlanta than I am to Seattle. Maybe you can find some opportunities there? Maybe get into a gig where you can teach guitar to kids? I know you like to help people. Maybe you can help yourself by helping others. (Just don’t spend too much time with real people! We’ll miss you here and at Domebo!)
