I want to meet gardentraveler and Sarahfeena, because they’re both very cool, and lovely people, and I love the way Sarah debates. I also want to meet Bricker, or rather, I want me and Mr. Lissar to meet Bricker, especially Mr. Lissar, because he’s thinking about becoming a Knight of Columbus.
And Unauthorized Cinnamon, and IvoryTowerDenizen, and pretty much everyone who’s responded sympathetically to my cluess new-mom cries for help. Oh, and fessie and her kids, because I’m curious about those ‘myriad uses for toothpaste’.

To be honest, I think a lot of the time we don’t run in the same threads on the board. I do remember meeting you at the last Gettydope and at Gingy and Dave’s parties, but we really didn’t talk much, together. And that’s mostly on me, because I don’t talk much at all once there’s a fairly large group going. There was no intent to slight you, believe me!
WhyNot because my Wife liked her. HazelNutCoffee because she’s enormously hot and she hopped right into my car and let me drive her home after seeing me for the first time ever and giving me a big hug IN PUBLIC. Anaamika because she makes a fascinating foreign (to me) culture seem not so foreign.
Angua, both for her perspective as a professional astronomer and for her viewpoint as a member of a minority sect of Islam. She offers some fascinating insight and doesn’t get half the praise she deserves for it.
I am constantly irritated by the average person’s ignorance of how economics works. I praise anyone who has the patience to explain it over and over and over again, and most of the time, he is drowned out by the left leaning audience around here.

Of the people I haven’t mentioned before in prior threads, HazelNutCoffee and freakalette are high on my list. I can’t remember if I’ve mentioned Cervaise before, but he may be considered an A-lister.
Oh, and of course, I have this secret crush on Antinor01, but I can’t talk about that because I’m married.
I think between us we could start to define an Alt-A* List. Mine would definitely include Kythereia, HazelNutCoffee, matt_mcl, Cerowyn, Twickster, WhyNot, Sam Stone, Anaamika, angua, Nava, Lissla Lissar, Scuba_Ben, What Exit?, tdn, TokyoPlayer, pbbth, Mahna Mahna, Spoons, featherlou, Ginger of the North, olivesmarch4th, and Siege. Undoubtedly, there are many I’ve left out. Including two I’m racking my brains trying to remember their usernames.
Note that many of these Dopers I have either met in person, had Hopeless Doper Crushes on, or both.
