Perhaps I’m biased because I’ve met him IRL and he’s always been nice to me, but RobotArm has a great, subtle wit to him.

Wow, thanks; and right back at ya, gorgeous.
A few recent traitors aside, we’re finally getting a bit of a Boston doper community. Always a pleasure to see all of you, with a special shout out to tdn.

Oh wow, I am really flattered to have been mentioned here!
I have so many dopers that I’d love to mention here. I know I will forget a few, but here goes:
featherlou
SSG Schwartz
ShermanAter
whiterabbit
Soul
Sunspace
An Gadai
Antinor1
LouisB
QtM
freekalette
Autolycus
There are many other people here who will inspire me to open a thread solely because they have posted in it but I can’t remember right at the moment.

I think I’ll have to wait for the “In praise of Dopers who never ever get praised” thread to be opened.

I thought of you when I was away from the keyboard – IIRC, one of your first postings concerned copyright issues (to which I responded). I’m always glad to see you stuck around.
Some others that have occurred to me, focussing on lower-postcounts, are Brown Eyed Girl (although we seriously disagree about seat-belt laws :)), rayh, and the contingent of tech- or math-oriented posters (like Derleth, Indistinguishable, beowulff, Rysto, etc.).
Oh, yeah…and DSeid. Always level-headed and informative.
No check necessary! I love seeing you post…I always imagine your posts in a sexy Irish accent. In fact, I might owe you a check for…umm…my active fantasy life. :o

**nd…n8 **and olives–thank you. I like to read your posts with interest as well.
I like most of the posters mentioned and appreciate their contributions to any thread, really. This is why I stay on the Dope–the level of intelligent discourse is refreshing. I have learned so much from the Dope, not just facts and information, but new ways to look at the world. It has truly broadened my acceptance of “different” things/people. On the flip side, it has also helped me define my limits and become confident of them. Not bad for a message board.
Just because you are not mentioned here doesn’t mean that your contributions are not noticed–I hope people know that. I remember people at odd moments–NzingaSeated just popped into my head, for example, as did** Diogenes the Cynic**. There are so many people who come and go, but who add pertinent and valid input to threads. To me, it’s sort of like an intellectual train station or waiting room…
Sorry for all those I didn’t mention by name. I wish I were better at recalling names.
PS-don’t you UK/EU guys know by now that you could pretty much read the phone directory out loud and we would swoon? Come on now, your accents are much more attractive than ours as a whole. Advantage: you!
I remember at least two people every time I close this thread! Zsofia, I haven’t forgotten all that stuff you did for me regarding my family history! And freekalette, you always brighten up a thread. featherlou, a post from you is always worth two from me.
