My sister and her husband are both teachers. I am trying to find the transcript for last weeks (11/6/00) episode of “Boston Public”. More specifically, I’m looking for the speech “Marla Hendricks” gives to the schoolboard re: who teachers are & what it takes to be one.

If anyone can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it. Please do not post copyrighted material to the board. If you can’t provide a link, please feel free to e-mail me.

Try this site: Mighty Big TV. It has very detailed episode guides, including the speech you’re refering to. I have no idea how accurate it is since I’ve never seen the show.

Thanks for the link. That’s kind of what I was looking for. I was hoping for the prinicpal’s speech before it as well, but they skipped it.
