In the same **FX **thread, FX makes a **joke **that others that post noticing how wrong FX and brazil are must be sock puppets of mine, (yes, he can get even more pathetic) and brazil84 supports it. And even when FX claims that it was a joke brasil84 doubles down on the accusation that others that can see that the science and logic supports me are sock puppets of mine.

Too late, Snowboarder Bo, I’m already a member*, and virtually all the ones in the list are indeed more intelligent that I am on grammar.

The brazil nut has to assume that all others that support me (even real scientist posters in the SDMB) are on the conspiracy or my socks, it is the only way his brain can deal with the notion that I understand the science better than he will ever do.

One reason for voting for brazil84, he actually lists the “bans” that he does in the SDMB in this blog, it is hard to imagine a more silly verification of the ignorance of the maker of a list like that.

My story is intended to show the value in having people go hard on you; to show that if he can craft an argument that survives the hyper-rigorous attacks it encounters here, it’s likely to survive other, less exactly environments.

While it’s a valid observation, ubfirtunately it only works of adaher actually understands and can differentiate between those times he “strikes out” and the other times when he “gets on base.” I see no evidence of that – during the course of his arguments he always apparently believes he’s batting a thousand.

Sounds to me like you just don’t want to hear facts that conflict with the Baghdad Bob-style reporting of the rosy rollout of ACA.

It’s no longer just the right-wing sites now. The mainstream media, as we get closer, is posting more and more stories about what’s going wrong.

I’ll say the same thing to you I’ve said to others here: if you want a discussion that ranges from effusive praise of ACA all the way to critics who wish we’d have single-payer instead but can live with ACA, there’s a site for you called Democratic Underground.
