And Sam made actual arguments. Much of his stuff was straightforward microeconomics, with a little conservative spin. Sam was careful with his facts, and would engage my counter-facts, as opposed to just type something off the top of his head like adaher. Sam represented a legitimate perspective and was a contribution to the board, though my eyes would roll at times.
That’s my impression of ralph, frankly.
I don’t recall Razor, but december was nowhere near as bad as adaher, who drips insincerity.
You can’t nail a poster with a single example. And Sam has the problem of being outnumbered as well. Finally, you haven’t shown him repeat the ignorance and it’s hardly unusual for people not to acknowledge error. In fact it’s typical, though not best practice.

adaher is a troll, and a damn good one. No real person could be objectively shown to be so wrong so often without some bit of frustration cracking through, but adaher just soldiers on, fighting the good fight and driving everyone in the elections forum crazy.

No, I’ll give credit to adaher. He’s painfully sincere. He absolutely believes what he’s saying - it’s just that what he believes has no connection to reality. But he presents it all as if it’s an obvious truth.

There were lots of examples. The Bushes as big NASA guys one. There was a Swift boating one. Sam’s skill was writing bullshit skillfully enough that people would buy it.
No doubt, aduher is spectacularly, obviously, gloriously stupidly wrong essentially all the time. If he kept it up for a decade he’d be the hands down winner.
Look at post 4 again. Sam only really went off the rails on the last sentence. The natural variation point is valid with respect to extreme weather events (and misleading with regards temperatures). Let’s go to post #8:

Sam’s error here is subtler: he’s essentially ramping down the sample size in order to obtain statistical insignificance which is a far less transparent variant of Wrong. The friend was referring there to the painful truths. Sam’s poison was not the truth unfortunately.

Look, I’ll concede lekatt but I insist that some posters are really missing the sublime Wrongness that is adaher. I think that turning political discourse into a version of team sports demeans both politics and team sports. The former is ill-defined, created ad-hoc and has little to do with ethical behavior in general, and the latter actually follows rules decided upon prior to the conflict.
Adaher, while apparently intelligent, has decided that the political process necessary to the governance of a people should be suborned to the desires of control by a few chosen people who, by pandering to the desire for conflict of their constituency against ‘The Other’ convince that self-same constituency that the ideas of ‘The Other’ are monstrously evil and should be attacked because those ideas are immutable contrary to those held by the convinced people of the constituency.
This is not consistent behavior for someone who wishes the best for the most. Mindlessly rallying behind a force for the oppression of some of the people’s will is against the very ideals he should hold dear. It is, in a word, insane.
This is sad. Are there no sane bastions of conservatism on this message board who could take up this banner?
If we banish adaher to the Gehenna of his chosen perdition, who do you, the sane majority, choose to replace him as a foil for our common onslaught of reason and amusing dialogue?

Nope, first the light poles that fell in front of the Pentagon demonstrate damage that could only had been made by a wide passenger plane, not a fighter jet and even less a missile.
Second, the damage on the building do match the passenger jet that crashed.
And finally, witnesses, physical and DNA evidence showed that indeed a passenger plane crashed in the Pentagon.
