Somebody, somewhere… around the time of MLK day, said that the liberal cabal was taking the Reverend out of the Reverend MLK, in an attempt to further remove religion from discourse. Or somesuch like that.
Maybe that report or article just heightened my awareness or sensitivity to same, but has anyone else noticed that news reports seem to be using “Rev.” in the headline etc when mentioning Jerry Falwell, and nothing (no “Rev.”) when mentioning Jesse Jackson?
This really isn’t a great debate, since isn’t actually about god and what-not. Just mostly a poll as to whether I’m reading too much into this or if others have noticed it too.
