In which a certain shop owner is reviled.

Ok, either you are so crazy no one has dared challenge you in person for fear of what your rampage would entail, or you’re a time traveler. Either way, I see the futility of trying to have a rational discourse with you.

My opinion, you’re batshit, nuts, daft, you’ve gone round the bend, you’re a few cards short of a deck, cracked, bonkers, cuckoo, certifiably insane. If you’re not, then you might seriously consider the impression you give off. It must not be fun to be tolerated for that level of “eccentricity” and not actually liked. But, that’s assuming you’d want people to enjoy your company. Maybe you don’t.

wiki is fine as a source for anything not controversial- but only IF there are cites.

Oh I read it every day. I just think that Mr. Marvelous is going to have to do better to argue that women in power are indicative of a national flaw than by presenting a wikipedia article about a standardized intelligence test that a lot of people don’t even find merit in.

Don’t beat about the bush, tell him straight what you think

You’re so right! I’m surrounded by people like this.

(Coming very late to this party)

I got the vibe from CarnalK’s post you linked to that he was underhandedly accusing SBSO of being a sock for the long-departed Stage Manager. Note the cap-S on “Stage” in that post.

shrug Could be wrong, of course.

My questions:

What is feminization of society? Why should it be less desirable than non-feminized society? How is it related to fighting sexism? What is its relationship to equal rights? What is its relationship to reducing disproportionate underrepreresentation of women in positions of power? What is “femininity”? How does it ruin a country? How is Sweden an example of femininity ruining a country? How does the proportion of women in the legislature relate to femininity ruining a country?

The reason for representative democracy is to ensure that women do not get too much voice in policy decisions?

How is this question related to the proportion of women in positions of power and the statistical argument? Are individuals allocated to prison on the basis of statistical probability? Are individuals assigned to positions of power on the basis of statistical probability?

What is the definition of “elite”? The most capable? The most effective? The most honest? The most deserving? Under the imperial system, was it more likely that these traits would be present in those put in positions of authority?

How do statistical distributions and probabilities relate to what kinds of traits will be present in those holding positions of authority?

Thanks for that, that’s good to know (although I did like the ease of being able to rely somewhat on wikipedia).

Hush, you. The difference between them and me is I’m right. :stuck_out_tongue:
