I’ve noticed Small British Shop Owner more than most other posters recently and I just assumed it was the neat user name. No, apparently he posts 100 times a day. “Day-amm” as they say!
I didn’t think he was a bad poster, but I just read that whole Cafe Society trainwreck. God good man? Are you really that stupid?
Being that stupid almost requires a constant paddling of the swollen ass (with paddles). Although I wouldn’t want to be accused of being low brow with my interest in ass paddling.
If this is a vote, I’d say just go, you’re not making a good first impression.
That’s right. However, Randy is short for Randall, and Dick is short for Richard; no one has named their sons Randy or Dick. However, Roger is Roger; it’s not short for anything. So why name him that?
Are you sure it’s not short for something else, or are you just assuming it’s not?
Admittedly, I have known one person who had Danny on his birth certificate, not Daniel, but these cases are rare. Anyway, in West Texas, I never heard that Randy was slang for anything until I was an adult; it just wasn’t used. (Dick was a well-known slang word, however, which afforded us kids hours of mirth for people who went by Dick, like our junior-high band teacher.)
In England, however, Roger seems to be a well-established slang for a certain act, or at least I get the impression that it is. So why would someone name their son Roger?
I don’t know why so many people name their hot Asian daughters ‘So Honee’. I see it in movies all the time and it always leaves me scratching my head over it.
d00d, SBSO, by the way I’m in total agreement about a name change should you subscribe.
I get hung up with the ‘small british’ part of it.
All this time I’ve envisioned you as a six inch tall, very dapper Brit gent complete with tiny bowler and tiny walking stick; who twirls his 'stache as he pontificates.
Seriously, though, I’m not a big Asian film buff (except for some assorted dramas - I’m not into ninja movies or anime), so I’ve never heard that name before.
Actually, a Google search turns up a mere forty results for it (all “me so honee” jokes), so I guess you must be spelling it incorrectly if you’re indeed seeing it pop up so often.
