Completely mundane and pointless, I admit. But you EQers out there will understand…
My enchanter is rapidly approaching level 60. The God Level for Enchanters. The level where I can cast KEI… the most wanted spell in the game at the moment. Of course, the damn thing costs something like 10-15K on my server. I’ve been scrimping and saving, selling every last thing I could do without for the last 6 or 8 weeks to save up the money. I finally got the money, and there’s no KEI to be found. Nobody’s selling the damn thing. Until I happen to glance over at my trader in the bazaar, do another search for KEI, just like I’ve done every ten minutes for the last 6 weeks… and there’s someone selling it. For 700 platinum. Yup, SEVEN HUNDRED. Someone is either clueless, or forgot a zero. WHOOHOOOOOOO!
I now have KEI and several thousand platinum. Should I buy a horse? A solstice earring? An amulet to increase the duration of my spells? The possibilities are endless! I am all powerful! LIFE IS GOOD.
