In Which Shodan (Allegedly) Pits a Predator

OK, alleged predator.

I don’t think I will provide a link, in the interests of my privacy. If that is a problem and you don’t care to believe me, fine - exit the thread, flame me, insert a lighted firecracker into an available orifice - whatever is most convenient.

Early this morning, an alleged sexual predator was arrested, allegedly by the police of a community close to mine. It is alleged that this alleged person allegedly used his position in the local schools (he is/was an alleged “diversity counselor”) to target allegedly under age girls. He allegedly had sex with at least two of them, one of whom was (allegedly) thirteen years old at the time. It is also alleged that this is not his first sexual offense - he was allegedly convicted of fifth degree sexual assault, but his record was allegedly expunged for reasons that are not clear. Although he was still allegedly hired by the school system to work with alleged children.

One of the junior high schools at which he allegedly worked (at least, such was alleged by the head of the guidance department when I spoke to her this morning) was the school my daughter attends. She is fourteen years old, and a member of a racial minority (she is South Korean). Therefore, she could have recruited into the after-school diversity program, and therefore (allegedly) a target of this alleged person.

He may, in other words, have set eyes on her, and while looking at her, thought of doing to her what he (allegedly) did to two other girls.

Therefore -

Allegedly, his alleged eyes and his alleged testicles are alleged to deserve to change places on his alleged anatomy, without anesthetic and very slowly.

Let’s see them expunge that.

I will make sure (of course) that my daughter has not been subject to the unpleasant attentions of this individual, and I am not as fucking stupid as the father of one of the victims, who supposedly allowed his fourteen year old daughter to go on a “date” with a forty-year old man, so she may be somewhat safer than the offspring of the clueless, but not as safe as she will be when this alleged sex offender is allegedly sent to prison and/or anally sodomized with a cheese grater.

I’m just curious if you had to go back and put in “alleged” all those times after you wrote that, or if you just rattled them off? I’d have had to stop and put 'em in, myself.

Also, I’m a big fan of using wild animals for my vigilante tactics. Teaches me about biology while providing a service. “Eat monkey justice!” For him I’d use something else, though. That should show him “diversity.”

I hope this guy goes to jail. Most hardened criminals find these kinds of acts disgusting and will make that known to him for the entire time he’s there. Maybe they’ll make him dress up like a 13 year old girl while they fuck him. Allegedly.

You know, he could be completely & totally innocent of any crimes.
As to the “date”- I’ll point out that in some states (it may have changed recently) this man could legally marry a 14yo with her parent’s consent.

If the allegations made by Shodan are true, trusting this alleged individual would be stupid at the least, and pretty damn negligent.

Actually, I read in the news this morning that one state (I disremember which one) jacked the age for marriage all the way up to 15.

It might be interesting to know how they arrived at that figure.

True, in this case, the safety of children outrules any question of “innocent until proven guilty”. I wouldn’t trust him with anyone kids, but I also wouldn’t wish horrible death upon him… until I knew he was guilty.

If this alleged predator was capable, do you really think he’d drop by to defend himself from the allegedly scurrilous charges? Come now. I’m alleging you’ve designed your OP in such a way it’s a virtual cast iron box that David Blain himself couldn’t escape from. Any salutor can see your phrasing is a catch-22 - a transparent ruse to nab this alleged predator.

One thing I’d like to know more about is the “alledged prior sex offense that was alledgedly expunged”. If it was a case of a 16 year old w/his 15 year old g/f, I’ve got no problem w/that. IF it was a 27 year old w/his 15 y/o g/f, yea, problem.

one of the major problems IMHO, with all this shit is that so much can get lumped into the phrase “prior sexual offense”, including IME, some of the following:

  1. Operating a sex phone line (not that I’d want them in the school, but really).
  2. indecent exposure, which would of course, include all of those girls gone wild participants and a good percentage of Mardi Gras participants, not to mention the various guys needing to pee, and any of us who had consensual relations w/another adult outdoors, in teh back seat of cars .(not that I’m claiming that’s the case in all cases of indecent exposure) (and most assuradly not that I’d have any personal knowledge of any of it).
  3. the aforementioned otherwise consensual act between two persons one of whom is just enough younger enough to be jail bait.
  4. the various guys at parties who think it’s fun/acceptable/ok etc to pat a female on their ass, (not that I think it’s necessarily ok to do so, just that I don’t automatically think you’re therefore gonna be lurking in bushes around grade schools - shit I saw a business man grope the butt of a waitress I know, it was wrong, offensive etc, certainly fit my states description of Criminal Sexual Conduct, but I don’t think the guy was at risk to rape underaged girls 'cause of it. At risk to get slapped, maybe. ejected from the restaurant, sure. )

It was fifth degree sexual assault, IIRC. Which (IANAL) sounds more like groping, or perhaps fondling a minor, and less like taking an outdoor whiz.

Well, not automatically, But that seems to be how it worked out in this case.

I was going recommend you look it up - but that could invite allegations of smugness on my part. I’ll try to contain my smarmy tone to this specific thread and offer you an educatation at the same time. Salutor is allegedly Latin for visitor. I say allegedly because I’m not Catholic - and don’t speak the language. I’ll occasionally pepper my posts with words googled in a Latin dictionary because I’ve heard it alleged it provides them an air of sacrosanctity not often found on the SDMB.
