Incontinence. Ladies, can we talk.

1 child, C-section, same issue. Kegels don’t help (I’ve done them since my 20’s, and still do them automatically).

Some day I’m sure I’ll find the time/money to let the doctor fix it. In the mean time, Always without the wings will work. (Wings seem to channel the urine sideways IME) I have founf the incontinence specific pads ae more exoensive, and almost never go on sale. Always at the local warehouse store are the cheapest option, and work fine for me.

Well, since we’re talking about this…

I think I do kegels, but I’m not sure I’ve correctly identified the muscles to target. I’ve tried the “stop the flow of urine” thing, but I’ve never been able to - apparently when I go, it’s all out. I’ve tried pretending that I’ll pee my pants (while on the toilet trying to do this to correctly identify which muscle to flex), to see if that’ll fake out my body enough to do it, but no dice. Anyone have any other tips? Is it just a keep trying sort of thing, eventually I’ll do it?

Sigh. The things I write on the SDMB.
