Because you’re not interested in knowing about Indian men with other races and nationalities of men.
(It was a joke)
I dated an Indian kid (second generation American) when I was in high school. I’m a white woman. I know a Japanese woman married to an Indian man (both are relatively recent immigrants). I also know a white woman married to an Indian man. I probably know or have known other such couples. I don’t really keep track…
Because redheads are hot.
do you live in a big city type of setting?
No. In high school, I lived in a moderate-sized town (maybe 35K). Now, I live in a small city (approx 68K). Both communities are part of larger metro areas, but neither is a suburb of a big city.
oh alright
looking at the poll, I would have NEVER imagined that an Indian guy - Blonde White woman couple would even exist out there, I seriously mean it
I thought (actually assumed) his wife is Indian.
Probably because it doesn’t happen much. Unless the family is very progessive, it’s discouraged.
In my area it has less to do with Indian people. Most of the White people in my area, especially women, don’t mix it up. I hear in bigger cities they do mix it up but it is usually with Black men and that is about it.
I remember my wife telling me when we were dating “you know I’m just not sexually attracted to black men”.
I said “Thats ok I have the same problem”.
:dubious:
So 18 people in here know of an indian guy - blonde white female couple
I have never seen or heard of that in real life. What kind of a town do I live in, jeez.
are you black?
just one bump
That is an excellent question. Care to tell us? You have also not said whether you are native to India or the US, what your current life stage might be, or any other number of life variables that would influence your lack of luck in this area and assist us with any sort of meaningful conjecture.
Live in the USA.
Have been here for over a decade. American culturally.
IME, they date non-Indians and then marry Indians. Not all of them, of course, but it is a thing.
what state or country are you in?
I notice a lot of people say this about Indians.
And they are White. Well, Caucasoid. As are Middle Eastern/Persians and many Latinos, at least partly. And if you use less-biological and more-cultural definitions, like love of suburban lawn care, you cannot get Whiter than Blacks and East Asians, so this poll has little basis in reality.
Indian =/= White
