Back, but the web page name in my URL line is a ridiculously long string of incoherent alphanumerics. I’m used to just changing the number of the forum to jump, but now it’s off the page.
My SDMB password is my most sensitive information! 
Looks like the Straight Dope has been, er, straightened out.

Agreed. It might actually be preferable to temporarily replace the entire site with a simple text page with any known status information, instead of serving up a crippled site. At least that way folks have some vague idea of what’s happening and at least know that “it’s not just me”.

I tried Twitter–various hashtags-- but only reached one person from the board, CCitizen. Also tweeted @Str8dope_com but no reply. Finally found the FB group.
Also seems to be the case with me. I think SDMB is still a little bit busted.
I was spontaneously logged out once, don’t know if the problem will persist.
Another problem I just noticed: the multi-quote function didn’t work the one time I tried it. The multi-quote above was done manually.
It’s been a few months since I was here. Did I miss anything?
Exactly. Great frustration awaits whoever tries using this pwd to try and get to any of my other presences.
