Inherently Sexy Professions

Tygr, you and I can have a club of two; I was snidely referring to myself in that post. :stuck_out_tongue:

Librarians are a sexy lot. Sure, we’re not overtly sexy; but our subtlety more than makes up for it.

I also find mimes and carnies sort of sexy.

Its about time that us paramedics got recongised…being a firefighter alone just does not cut it anymore.

Oh, I know. [sup]-Hey, I’m in a club with BunnyGirl![/sup]

And while DTP might not be “sexy”, you and I BOTH know that the world would grind to a stop without our talents.

…or, at least, it wouldn’t LOOK as nice.

So, you want me to kern your type?

[sub] For the rest of youse, that’s DTP for “How YOU doin’?”[/sub]

Would I be right in supposing that I’m not likely to see “physicists” show up any time soon?

<<Would I be right in supposing that I’m not likely to see “physicists” show up any time soon? >>

Don’t they count as geeks? Well, all but the ones doing magnetics research, who have to wear a windable watch. But still, yeah! Physics department at my university had a killer hot tub party thing going on…that and the physics student paying her way through by stripping. Good parties.

Corr

How about entomology grad students doing research in forest ecology?

Huh? Huh?

Anybody? Somebody? Anybody?

Or do we count as geeks, too? (I assume the mol bio people are often considered geekier than we are.)

As someone considering a career change, I must say this is the best resource on the net.

And for my .02: dancers, oh yeah baby, put that leg over your head. (not just strippers, you pervs)

Daddies, especially the Daddy of my kids. But there is something sexy about any guy with a four year old on his shoulders (and sucker in his hair).

Hey, Scribble, I’m with you  . Entomologists are uber-sexy. Not as sexy as Herpetologists mind you, but up there  .

But what about Water Reclamation Plant Operators? C’mon now - we have Chlorine AND Sulfuric Acid  .

Damn, I KNEW I chose the wrong school!

I don’t have a profession to add to this discussion, but…

When I took Life Drawing in college one of our regular models was a fireman–with the archetypical fireman’s build and even the moustache!

I still have my drawings, and they’re damn good. I can’t scan them 'cause they’re too big, but maybe I’ll eventually take pictures of 'em and post 'em.

Bluethree
(married to a soldier. And for those who think female soldiers are hot–used to be one)

chimney sweep!

Race car drivers.

Rodeo riders.

Farm boys.

Mechanics.

Photographers.

Dog trainers. So sexy!

So, uh, teachers of any particular age group of students, or just in general?
I too go for the artsy types: writers, film makers, angsty musicians, visual artists…

And then there are special agents in the FBI and professional hitmen to consider…ok, I watch too much TV/movies, but oh my!

Chef Boys and Chef Girls are all sexy, Sweetie Darling.
MMMMmmmmm Chef Boys…

Kindergarten teachers…at least my kindergarten teacher

Whooohoooo! I made someone’s list twice. Granted, he’s a guy, but I’m not all that picky.

How you doin’?

Lacrosse players, my goodness. I can’t really explain it but…drool
