Nice choice. Have you read the two Moorcock novels the song is based around? The Fireclown was quite the enigmatic character.
In point of fact I did get through fireclown while pondering the name change. Moorcock is not my favorite author, however, so that’s as far as I got.

As a mod, I’ve shut down more than a couple of Inigo’s more manic (i.e., content-free) OPs. As he knows, though, I’m also the daughter of a bipolar mother, whose condition was undiagnosed as such (and thus untreated) until I was in college. I have always had an enormous amount of sympathy for his condition, which I have tried to communicate to him both on the Boards and behind the scenes in various PMs and emails over the years.
So, good to see you, Sun Jester – congratulations on reaching this point in your journey, and may you continue to enjoy the not entirely unmixed blessings of a “saner” life.

I must agree with this, and thank you for your thoughtful posts in the other thread. They helped me understand a couple I’ve known quite a bit better, and the rules you posted in another thread are useful for many, many people. Not just manics.
