I like squishy women. Right after “naked and amorous”, “squishy” is right up there. If you don’t squish, have a muffin.
Of course “naked and amorous: skinny” beats “squishy: not interested”. Go figure.

Hey there, ain’t nothin’ wrong with a little padding and some soft curves on the wimminfolk. Makes it more fun to snuggle up under the quilt with 'em when the winter wind’s a-blowin.
Aside: I tend to prefer the “best friend” type of woman you see on TV and in the movies (Molly on the TV show “Ed” comes to mind: va-va-vooooooom!). I guess it’s just another reflection of how society equates anexoric with healthy. IMO it’s a damn shame that women like that aren’t ever portrayed as the desirable red-hot babes they can be.
Just my $.02,
Zappo
I think I saw that movie.
Absolutely. Aside from the aesthetic appeal, my experience with women of average-and-higher weight is that they are sensitive, gentle, sweet, happy, outgoing, and all-around fun. Of course I find them more interesting than an underfed wraith:
<Foghorn Leghorn> She looks like the road between Dallas and Fort Worth - No Curves. </F.L.>
And perhaps it’s just me, but I’m of the opinion that when you hug a woman, your hands aren’t supposed to wrap all the way around and rest on your OWN hips. Nope, I like a woman who can give good hug. And properly-sized women are far and away the best at that.
Spider Robinson explains it much better than I can in the story “The Blacksmith’s Tale”, which includes musings on why plus-size women are such good lovers. [sup]-Naturally, I concur.[/sup]
Where are all of you guys when this lusty, plump young woman is looking for a date on Friday night???
Well, I certainly won’t deny I like looking at women the rest of you might call skinny.
But I know first hand that when the lights go out, I’d rather have a well-padded woman to snuggle up to.
However, for me, ultimately it’s what’s above the neck that counts the most: Eyes, hair, and mind.
I used to only like skinny, stick figure kind of women. But times change, people change… now I can appreciate all different types. As far as looks, a pretty smile that lights up a room is much more important than body shape. But I still find it a bit of a turn off if its over the top.

I like a woman with a big butt, you know, something you can hold onto while she’s whipping you with a car antenna

Married. To lusty, curvy wives.
A woman’s body is something I’m usually pretty indifferent to. Moderate is probably a good description of what I look for. Too skinny and I’m always worried about rolling over and crushing them and too heavy and I just think, “It’s not that hard to exercize. Does this mean she’s a lazy slob?”
A woman’s face is what really attracts me, their body is almost negligable in influencing my attractions.
I *like *this thread!
Well I haven’t seen it, but I imagine I’d like it. Besides, I was just thinking of Spinal Tap after reading Reeder’s line “…a woman with a bit of cushion.” Automatically my mind rhymed that with pushin’ and I had a Spinal Tap moment.
BTW, In keeping with the thread, add me to the list of finding a healthy-sized woman attractive. Calista Flockhart, Courtney Cox, etc, are too thin. They look like those walking stick insects with boobs.
Callista Flockhart has boobs?!?
Oddly enough, I never noticed. Couldn’t seem to get past Jane Krakowski.
Me. I have very odd preferences. My physically “ideal” woman:
5’6" or so
160-200 lbs
red hair
blue or green eyes
really good hands
really really good face
a fun belly
Other stuff is negotiable (except the fetish I deliberately didn’t include on there).
mmmm… round women…
::drool::
Sorry, punha, I’m too tall for you.
Out of curiosity, PUN, what’s a “fun belly”?
Keep it up, guys. You are way boosting my ego.
–Persephone,
proud owner of hips & boobs…
I’m with you, Persephone.
But, darn, I’m too short and too blonde [sub]and too old[/sub] for pun.
HEY!!! That’s ME!!! My GOD, where were you during my Pit rant???
(I also have to say… I LOVE this thread!! Makes me feel all warm-n-fuzzy)

Gotta agree, this is a mighty fine thread… My youngest sisters has a T-shirt that proclaims “I’m not fat, I’m fluffy” - it suits her, but I like to think I’m a woman of substance, and a good bit of that substance is packed into my tits, hips and ass… Who wants a hug??
