This was in response to my vote. Look, ed, I expect you to defend yourself and perhaps my vote was not the greatest case. But let’s be honest, you were waffling and waffling can be a scum tell.
Regardless, don’t call me an idiot again. It was uncalled for and bordering on insulting (irrespective of the fact that I was correct in suspecting you).
interesting game. thanks sach. the only issue that i would have is that you kind of intimated in a pm that you thought that having a week off would keep it a little fresher. so that folks got some down time i think is your direct quote. i would tend to disagree. i mean you still had to keep up but you didn’t have a chance to respond in real time. that made it even worse for the adhd folks in the crowd.
but that was fun and certainly a mechanic that can be used in future games.
That was a lot of fun. I could feel myself getting more comfortable with the different styles (offline/online) as the game went on. I’m looking forward to more games.
Oh wow. I was kind of expecting something like this if SP was in fact town, but it’s still a bit disappointing. I’d dearly love to play another version of this. I absolutely loved the setup.
Yeah, great to see you play a game with us, Wolverine. This was not a typical game, in my opinion(though a cool setup).
Most games last longer, have no separate parts of the world, and are(in my opinion) harder for Town than this one. Having two investigators was a pretty strong thing for Town and just having a godfather(Rysto/Drain) was not enough to help scum. That, and Rintwisted quitting was terrible for them as well.
I had no idea we really were so close to winning. I just thought things were going well for Town, not that well. I figured a wild card had to be out there for scum.
Was the sudden end because the setup was inherently biased against the ICR, or was it because of a couple of breaks in the criminal hunting biz stripping one part of the world of the criminals?
Could the ICR have coped if Rin Twisted hadn’t gone missing? The Townies in London were very close to losing control of the vote; add his vote and we could have been pushed over the edge Today. That would have been frustrating.
hard to know. but when nz lynched ed it was effectively over. i still think that was not the percentage play but it worked out so what they hey. i mean we were going to get there eventually it’s just that the wellington folks decided to take a short cut.
normal play
hey can i buy you a drink? durn your eyes sparkle light moonlight on the lake. and that dress is fantastic. another one? something to eat? i know this wonderful italian restaurant? i’ll drive you in my porsche. yes i dearly love a salad for a main meal. dancing? i really like swing music it helps limber me up. coffee at my place? come right on in and don’t worry about the artwork i have collected it for a long time. certainly the bathroom is right through the bedroom. bam.
Wow we’re done already. Sachertorte was right when he said this would be a quick game. Good job Town!!
Thanks for the game sachertorte, great game concept and I’m not sure it was unbalanced toward Town. Things could have been different without an inactive scum and if the Kiwis didn’t do such a great job.
i think it has already been noted but what da heck.
sign ups are currently under way over on giraffe for a siscoyote extravaganza. a lot of the folks that play here also play over there. plus the pace is roughly equivalent. it’s a little more free form but what the heck every now and then you have to mix up the chunky monkey with some rocky road.
