Internet connecion sharing from Windows 98 to Win2K

Shucks howdy guys. Here’s my problem…I’ve got a Win98 and a Win2K machine on a LAN. I need to share the Internet connection from the 98 machine (the one with the modem dialing out) to the 2K machine. Switching the modem to the 2K machine isn’t possible (where Internet sharing is already enabled), so is there anything I can do for a work around?

Assuming the windows 98 machine is second edition, there is no need for a work around per se. Just enable Internet Connection Sharing and you’re done.

There are also utilities which will allow you to control the dialup connection via the clients - but I don’t have a link handy for that.

Found one - it’s not the one I used to use (now all my machines are XP) but it looks pretty good.
